Service & host were excellent, friendly & accommodating. We were traveling & came in for a take- out order. Manager & Hostess & 3 waiters were attentive & helpful immediately. We were greeted by all. We ordered pollo podrillos & pollo loco & chips/salsa. They had it to us within 7min & we were back to hotel within 20min of original departure...very fast. Food was hot & very good. I eat at Los 3 Potrillos just about every week after church. The service is unmatched, and the food always comes out hot and fresh, most times within 5-8 minutes. The atmosphere is always great, and I love the music they play. I usually get the chicken fajitas or the Esmeraldas, but today I got the Birria tacos off the specials menu. This is the only Mexican restaurant we go to over and over again in conway. I hadn't found my "meal" until til this time and OMG!! Some of the best tacos I've ever had. They house make their tortillas and they are delicious. I am not a fan of their cheese dip. It doesn't have any flavor. My husband and I normally get the JC special and it's good, but these tacos take the cake. I'll get these every time. We also ordered some cheese enchiladas and won't get them again. This place is great! Our waiter was very sweet and service was very fast. Inside was big and clean. The food and drinks were delicious. Had the lava colada to drink, soo yummy if you like sweet drinks. Then had the JC special which is a hot lava rock bowl filled with chicken, steak, chorizo, shrimp, jalapeño and cheese dip and they give you tortillas with rice and beans on the side. This place surprised me! Some entrees are slightly different than the Tex-Mex we are accustomed to, but it is very very good. In fact; my Enchiladas Supremas not only featured the best enchiladas I've had recently, but did so at a bargain price! I got (4) different enchiladas; beef, chicken, cheese, and bean - for only $9!! That is a DEAL! My wife loved her choices on the Build Your Own Platter entree, and our refried beans were superb. Good queso, good chips & salsa, and good service. My wife and I had the very best experience at this place. It was running late and their website said 1:00 am close - do we stopped in at 10:30. Once we sat down - Andy our waitress said that they were closing in 30 min But Andy did a great job at getting our food to us HOT and fresh the homemade tortillas were excellent and was great. Ambiance /environment is great. Music was fun. If you want a place to drink this is your spot. As for food ordered the mocajete with steak nopal onions etc; steak had a lot of fat and was very oily. First pic below (mind you dish was partly eaten) ordered the camarones a la diabla; very disappointed, tasted like ketchup hot sauce together. I'm not a good critic but who ever owns this restaurant needs to fix their recipes. My favorite part of the food was the fresh tortillas. I loved Los 3 Potrillos. I was visiting from Raleigh, NC & I am always down for some good Mexican food. My brother brought us here because he said it was the best Mexican in Conway. The parking is good. We were able to get a parking space in the front of the restaurant which was perfect because the day was calling for rain and we didn't want to get wet. When we first walked in the restaurant we walked straight in my brother was a regular there so he knew where to go. We sat down and we were immediately greeted by our server. He was really nice + helpful. We ended up ordering; a ceviche tostada, 2 beef enchiladas with cheese sauce all rice no beans, 2 orders of steak quesadillas, a dish that had steak shrimp and chicken with cheese, rice and vegetables (in NC we call it the ACP) we also ordered drinks: cantina (so good), 2 beers: bud light and corona and a sangria. We paid $63 for all of this. We thought that the price was amazing just because we know anywhere else it would have been expensive. I didn't like the salsa very much it didn't have a taste and to me that's a deal breaker because I love salsa. Overall great Mexican restaurant. read more

Traveling through and this place looked promising. Only thing it promised was disappointment. Everything we ordered, literally every, single, item was wrong. Ordered a small beer, brought a large. Pineapple margarita, got a strawberry. Ordered no rice, no tortillas, brought both. They possibly would have gotten the guacamole right... but the guacamole we ordered never came even tho we were charged for it (this was reconciled later: the receipt I signed charged me $10 more but the itemized receipt was $10 less (make that make sense)). **check your receipts thoroughly people** The ambiance of the restaurant was relaxed and a typical modern Tex-Mex, but some people were so relaxed they were literally screaming (this isn't exaggeration). We had to yell to talk to the server and most sounds were inaudible due to the 94 decibel level. Some in our party put in hearing protection it was so loud The food we did receive was average. If the experience wasn't so backwards, I would probably eat there again. read more

So my fiancée and I tried Los 3 and while the service was decent, the food was mediocre at best. I ordered El Volcano (a stuffed, flour tortilla shaped like a volcano) and I was not impressed. While the idea is unique, the taste wasn't savory. My fiancé ordered enchiladas and the red sauce was very similar to marinara sauce while the beef resembled that of Taco Bell. On the way she got very nauseous. Overall we were not impressed and will not be returning. read more

This used to be one of our favorite Mexican restaurants in Conway. We ordered Coctel de Camarones and the Special Dinner ( which was supposed to have a taco, chalupa, etc). We did not get the special dinner and the coctel de Cameron was tasteless ( rubbery shrimp, not quite ripe avocado and the sauce was bland tomato sauce). When I called to simply report the issue, the manager wanted to explain things to me. Yes, I know there's a pandemic, but not getting the order you requested seems basic. Please have the courtesy to say: We are sorry and will do better. This was for take-out. We wont be going back. read more

This is my one of my favorite TexMex restaurants around. They started across the street in a hotel that had several restaurants come and go, and they did well enough to move into this new location. They renovated it and are doing great. The chips are almost always slightly over cooked but their hand made tortillas are the greatest. read more
