They are communicative and thoughtful in how they approach dental treatment. Sometimes my kids have had a harder time with traditional x-rays because of their sensory sensitivities and if needed, they will use a dental cone beam computed tomography machine which they have in their office as well. They also have something called a Solea laser which is leading-edge equipment that makes things like cavity repair faster and more comfortable. I appreciate dental offices that keep up with technology to improve the patient experience, especially for kids. (Yes, I used to work in the dental industry too!) I told him that Dr. Sam came highly recommended by our moms' group and had all five-star reviews on Yelp, and he finally agreed to give it a try. "Why did the air suddenly get so thin?" he said on the way to the new office--he was that nervous because of the past experiences! But the moment he stepped into Dr. Sam's office, he immediately felt welcomed and more at ease. The soothing environment and the movie on the screen helped him relax right away.
