I bought a brand new 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee and immediately took it here to get it tinted. I can't remember the exact line but all I remember is that it had a ton of UV protection and it was kind of costly lol (compared to what I've paid for in the past for tints). What I can say is that the tints are going on 5 years and they still look like they were just installed. No peeling, bubbles etc. Everyone that gets into my Jeep is always asking about the tints. The best part is that it goes to the top edge of the glass. The tints look so good that it looks exactly like the rear tints that we're factory installed. As long as they're in business, I will continue to recommend everyone here and will use them for any vehicle I get in the future. read more

This is a nice hidden spot to get your windows tinted, car ceramic coated or add Xpel Paint Protection. I came here for a paint correction and then an XPEL paint protection with ceramic coating. Lorenzo's price was very competitive and worth every penny. He takes his time and makes sure every line is perfect and there are no bubbles. Called the shop to remove front door tints in a 2016 Porsche Cayanne, and was told Porsche is difficult and have to remove glass from the door, or I need be prepared there will be an edge in the bottom when rolling up the window. A week later I called to get it done but no one picked up the call, or responded to the voicemail I left. Fortunately I have the tint removed at another shop in Putnam county beautifullly for only $80. So some lesson learnt here. It took me over a week to research getting paint protection for my R/T. So many options and so many supposedly qualified installers. I got some very high end quotes($2500) and a few way too low quotes($800). I finally decided to go straight to the Xpel website and see who was an authorized installer in my area(Bronx NY). I saw Lorenzo(owner) name and gave him a call. He answered the phone himself and right away I could tell he was a straight talking very knowledgeable guy. He told me he's very busy but if I had some free time I could come in and look around. To my surprise when I showed up, although he was working .....he overheard me asking one is of his employees about Xpel installation and he came right over from detailing a Bentley and said" I'm Lorenzo the owner......let me show you around". He spent the next hour explaining exactly what he does and asked me what I want done and the timeframes and the $ involved. He's a great listener. I told him my car was 9 days old and I wanted to protect it right away. He told me he treats all cars the same whether they are a Lamborghini or a Honda. He showed me the Xpel he was doing on some other cars and I could see the care and attention to detail all his guys displayed. We worked out a very reasonable $ for the full hood,bumpers(front n rear), headlights/grill,Mirrors n mirror casings and front side around wheels and door handle cups and I brought the car in the next morning!!!!.... Yes he took pity on me I guess bc we both have Brooklyn/Bronx accents and he squeezed me in over the weekend. He called me Sunday night and told me my car was ready and I can pick it up anytime Monday I want. From the time I saw my car I was speechless... He went above and beyond and covered my whole grill and as you can see in the pics....this car has a huge front end and both upper and lower grills are complicated. He explained to me how this is no pre-cut sheets of Xpel ... It was a lot of custom cutting and he had some pieces left over and decided to do my grills. He walked around the whole car with me asking me if I had any questions and advising me about care/maintenance until I had no more questions. He was so patient it was unreal. All I can say is this guy is an old school business man... Been doing these installations since it all started and really takes pride in his work. He's an Artist. He guarantees all his work and told me to bring it back next week after it cures fully and he will go over the whole car with me again to double check it all. Much thanks to Junior, Lorenzo's assistant... He was great to talk to and after a few minutes anyone could tell he's been mentored by Lorenzo and knows his stuff as well. I first went to Lorenzo about 10+ years ago after I heard about his excellent work through a college friend. Since then, I've had about four vehicles done by him (two Altimas, a Mustang and recently a Forester XT). I'm extremely particular about my belongings and the products and services I choose, so it's difficult for me to vouch for anyone unless I'm 110% satisfied. This recommendation is easy for me because it's always been a pleasure working with Lorenzo. His work then AND now continues to be some of the best tinting craftsmanship that I've ever witnessed. His tint application and edging is superior to other jobs that I've seen and he only uses reputable film. Before selling my Mustang, I frequented tons of car shows and was always complimented on the quality and appearance of my tints. Don't be fooled though, tinted windows are not just about the visual aspect and looking "cool." They have a purpose and that's to block heat and dangerous UV rays from damaging you, your occupants and the interior of your vehicle. It's a very wise investment and something I will always have installed on my vehicles. Finally, on my most recent vehicle, a 2015 Subaru Forester XT truck. I had Lorenzo install a paint protection film on my front bumper, hood and rear bumper to protect the paint from rock chips since I frequently go on long road trips. Literally an amazing hidden spot; This tint and Paint protection shop is like a hidden gem, Lorenzo is extremely skilled knowledgeable and informed me of the exact tints I am allowed to get on my TLC sedan. I spoke with Lorenzo briefly after walking in and he makes you feel right at home. He was able to fit me in the same day. There is a showroom where many different tints on glass are showed off, so it is much easier to get an idea of how they look than just looking at the tint films themselves. I had a really great customer service experience with Lorenzo and his crew at Lorenzo tint. Initially, around Easter, I had a hard time getting in contact with Lorenzo to set up a consult for my car. I subsequently posted a review on Yelp discussing that, and shortly after, was contacted by Lorenzo. He apologized for the experience and explained that the season is particularly busy, and managing multiple calls of serious and not so serious inquiries plus serving live clients proved to be a difficult task. We agreed to schedule some time and move things forward. Ultimately, I was able to get in and get an appt, leaving my car overnight and picking it up the next day after work with no issues. The first thing you will notice when you visit this shop is the pristine condition of the garage. It's immaculate, and all of the employees are hard at work, seemingly in good spirits, and friendly to the passing customers. I enjoyed talking with Lorenzo because it is clear that he is a serious, respectable businessman who knows his product and sector and takes a lot of pride in his work, facility, and community. I knew my car was in good hands and felt comfortable discussing the various grades, products, and options available to me. It is true that you can pay top dollar here, but there are more affordable options as well. I was willing to pay a little bit more than I have in the past for tints because I trust that this is a high quality shop installing a high quality product that will not fade or change colors or interfere with any of my equipment/devices (which can happen with low quality tints that use metals in their films) in my car. The work done on my car is perfect. They even taped off my window controls to remind me and passengers not to put the windows down and compromise the job (thanks!). My car was so clean that it looked like the day it came off the lot. I'm seriously considering investing in some of the protective body wraps Lorenzo offers to protect my investment even more against reckless bums of downstate NY who love to smash into you from all angles; the pictures he has in shop with before/afters on cars that were hit but "saved" by their body wrap is amazing. I'm really grateful that Lorenzo reached out and made this happen. Maybe you'll save some bucks elsewhere, and maybe after you will find imperfections, bubbles, scratches, discoloration, or other flaws that wipe out the value of the job all together. Amazing experience!! I brought my month old M4 here for a Suntek paint protection wrap on the full car. Lorenzo took the time to explain the process and product in full detail as well as showcasing vehicles he was currently working on so I could get a first hand view of how my vehicle would be treated. He made me very comfortable with leaving my baby there for the work. He was done with the car in about 4 days. I was very impressed with the work. I also was impressed by the tint work in his shop so I had him re-tint the vehicle; I had tints put on two weeks before at another shop but once I saw the quality work these guys do, I had them redo it for me. When picking up the car, I could literally drive it from the shop straight to a car-show. This guy plays fair and does the best job. Can't get any better! Original Review: A long overdue review, hopefully will help others make the decision on where to get tints done. [Summarized, competition name taken out]: A local shop in long island discriminates which cars you bring in for work- a BMW would get different treatment than a Toyota. While the work is very good, jobs were slightly rushed (great for people in time pinch) and I did have to go back to get tints corrected. Lorenzo is different. He takes his time and does a perfect job every time. He will caress your windows and baby your tints. I will never worry about the work he does. I was sold on crystalline tints (local tint shop had me 100% convinced) but decided to shop around for better service. Found Lorenzo's and decided to call. Lorenzo's did not have crystalline. I made it pretty clear that I was most likely not going to put anything else on my new truck, but Lorenzo stayed on the phone to answer all of my questions and even taught me the history on tinting and knew his science behind the product, which I understood. This guy is no bullshit. He's passionate about tints and wraps. This is his life, guys. I decided what the hell, let's try out this Suntek CXP stuff he swears by. Knowing if I went back to the other place I'd be taking a chance anyway, I scheduled the appointment. I had to leave the car overnight instead of the 40 minute job locally, but I tried to understand Lorenzo needs time to share his passion with all his callers whereas the other guy could almost never be reached by phone. On to the actual job. The tints on my Toyota was installed far more flawlessly than the BMW/Audi installation done locally. I am sold for life. You cannot even find a 0.001mm of space untinted from the edge of the glass. No peeling. No "don't roll down your window for X days" bullshit. No "I can't tint the moonroof because it's not tempered glass unless you pay another $150" bullshit. No rushing me, EVER. This review is long overdue but it only adds to the value and service that Lorenzo provides when tinting your car. It has now been about 9 months that I have had my car windows tinted and I'm glad to say that there has been no signs of wear at all on any of my windows. Nothing. It still looks as if they were done yesterday. Before meeting Lorenzo I believed all window tints were relatively similar. I was wrong. A friend recommended Lorenzo so I decided to check him out before I went ahead and opted for the cheapest and fastest job. Upon walking into Lorenzo's shop you can already notice the pride he takes in his work as his shop is immaculate and will have many displays of different window tints. He explained all of the different window tints to me, and helped me choose which would best suit my needs. After tinting my windows Lorenzo told me to come back in a week so he could make sure the tint had settled well. I did and he told me it had. I'm thankful I decided to go with Lorenzo. Some of my friends have had to replace their window tints after only 6 months due to fading/peeling. Mine still look brand new. Once I had decided on the products I wanted, he worked up an estimate which was more than fair compared to others that I had gotten, and set my appointment.
