On 3/21, I got into a minor accident due to my car not being able to brake properly in the snow. Ended up hitting a parked car and filing a claim with my insurance company. As this was my first time, I was pretty stressed out especially because people kept coming up me during the accident to advertise their shop. Obviously this raised some trust issues. And then I remembered Rhinelander Auto Body. We had a family car's rear bumper painted before and remembered how quality the work is. Called an hour after the accident and Miguel, one of the managers, told me to come in. Stayed past closing time to help me out. Was told not to worry and that everything would be taken care of. And it was ! 1 week later, (yes, only took 9 days!) my car was back to normal. As an owner of a BMW, I'm very skeptical taking my car to body shops and mechanics due to it being a European car. However I had nothing to worry about. The owner, Pat, greeted me on the day of pickup and was so confident in his teams work that he said to come back if there's ever an issue with his work, guaranteed. Molding on side of my car was bent, and it interfered with opening passenger seat unless I opened the front door first. Although it seemed like a small issue, the bent on the molding kept getting worse since I couldn't always warn people about opening the rear door. I found this body shop on Yelp, and it had the highest review. Pat diagnosed and gave me an estimate on Wednesday, and I had a brand new molding replacing the old one by Monday, and he also flattened out the front molding that was slightly bent as well. photo inspection guy had a serious attitude because i didn't say hello to him when i was getting out of my car and wouldn't serve me. it was to cold i had no glove or beanie, i was trying to get in the office where it's warm so i can talk to him or someone. the photo inspection guy started cursing me out in the office and the other employees did not say anything. i had to argue with him. i was cold tired and having a bad day. this dude got his feelings hurt because i did not say hello to him outside in the cold. he was throwing a tantrum like a 5 year old. if you like to be treated like worse then trash then this is a wonderful place to take your business. read more

Don't bother taking your car anywhere else. I took my 2013 Toyota Highlander for an estimate on some front fender damage. I was met by Miguel (manager) who was very polite and professional. He was very straight forward and honest regarding how much I would pay. After agreeing with the price, I dropped off my car on a Tuesday and Miguel promised it would be ready for pick up on Friday. True to his word, I picked up my car that Friday and barely recognized it. It looked like a brand new car, nicely polished and the guys cleaned the inside better than I ever could. Yesterday morning, after I went to drive my car out of the Bronx, I noticed some metal hanging at the bottom. After doing some research I realized it was my heat panel hanging down. I just needed someone to remove the panel so that I can bring it to my personal mechanic. When I walked into the shop Pat was very helpful in getting my car fixed quickly, he told me he would look under to make sure it was the heat panel and if it was he would just remove it. Ten minutes passed and Pat walked in carrying the panel. When it was time to pay he told me it would be $45.31!! I told him I think that's a bit much to charge for removing a panel which was already half way off but he refused to charge less. As a female driver who is new to servicing a car, I felt like I was taken full advantage of. Other mechanics who I spoke to after the emergency said I should've never had to pay more than $20. Everyone just be ready with appropriate pricing before entering this shop. read more
