In short, the ambiance is wonderful, it is a house of mirrors that make the inner two rooms look immense.
Three of us ordered salads, Pfannkuchen, and venison filets with a potato gratin. All were rated very good to excellent. I loved the venison.
The wine is all locally produced for the restaurant, and we enjoyed a trocken grau burgunder and a remarkable red produced by Franz Herbster for the house.
I cannot rate the service highly enough. Young waitresses were efficient and professional, and the chefin was remarkably attentive and gracious.
