It's a little like a maze, only organized into right angles. Seemed there was only one way in and one way out, which is also okay. Things went downhill after the first hour as it was getting crowded, and customers were waiting in the parking lot hoping to snag a cart from someone leaving. by 10:30 it was so crowded, with cutomers as well as employees trying to move racks of plants around, that it was often necessary to wait for someone to pass, before I could walk down a main aisle heading in the opposite direction. I had to check out twice, and both times the owner (Mr. Pepper) and his wife were at the counter. Both tended to speak only to the girl working the register, but when necessary to ask me for clarification (like "Is this your's too?" kind of thing), the tone was curt and to the point, delivered without a smile. It was busy, I get that there's little time for chit-chat, but it felt a little like being in line at the Soup Nazi (Seinfeld, Season 7, Episode 6). But, I wouldn't be writing this review if it weren't for what I realized this morning: Every single basil plant I bought is actually a dozen or so plants growing together in a small pot. I bought seven, and when picking them out I was curious as to why they were so small. Now I know. This seems to be a trend I've noticed, at both Lowe's and Home Depot, where several plants are crammed into one pot to create the illusion of a larger plant with an established root system. Crowded roots become suppressed roots, thus a stunted plant that does not thrive. This **can** be seen by some as a plus, but I find it misleading, and it is not a proper potting method for growing healthy plants. The basils ranged from $2.95 to $3.95. And last, I never did see where the restrooms were, but one of the friends I was with, who has been here many times, shook her head when I asked where it was, saying, "You don't want to go in there." Maybe it was an outhouse? I took her advice and visited Royal Farms on the way home. In summary, it is worth going to, but be ready for a less than enjoyable experience, unless you arrive and leave early. Get there early to get a cart, don't expect "friendly" service if it's busy, and check the stems of whatever you consider buying to see if multiple plants are potted.

Every inquiry is answered, which we've found rare in these parts, and generally within a day, in our experience. Joel is so patient to answer any and all questions before starting a job. It is a pleasure working with him. Our first meeting was completely virtual. We had purchased a home but were still commuting, and we got a ticket from our HOA because we hadn't edged our lawn and had seven days to cure the infraction. The flowers which surrounded the house were a mess, and a magnolia tree in the backyard hadn't been trimmed for years. We looked through the Green World Landscaping website and were encouraged by the photos and started an email conversation with Joel. He and his team took care of the entire project, and went above and beyond, mucking out weeds, realigning the flower bed boarders, trimming the tree back to get a fresh new start, and did a beautiful job. When we decided to surround the house with pavers, we of course called Joel because all the hardscaping work we had seen him do was thoughtful and lovely, and he came over and his vision was immediately clear. He suggested a color to complement our home (and conform to community standards), and a pattern and brand which is beautifully designed and has a solid reputation. He and his team were timely, careful with our home, thorough, and they cleaned up every inch of the property before leaving. The artistry of the pavers is stunning. The mosaic at the front door was cut in real time as the pavers were being laid, and set so thoughtfully at the front door, it's a treasure. They also buried our downspout drains and solved a lot of ponding issues that have been going on for years. Again, above and beyond in the designing of the project. It feels like Joel takes as good care of our home as he would his own. We can't recommend Joel and Green World Landscaping more highly. Joel is a good man, and his team is tops.

Her pre-planted hanging baskets are gorgeous. All of the plants are first-quality, healthy, and very well priced. They also carry some shrubs, roses, etc. but I have to say the the flowering plants is where they shine. :) In addition, they are a dealer for Massarelli fountains and have a selection of garden accents as well. Not open on Sundays.

I contacted them roughly a month ago, advising that the tree didn't survive the winter and was hoping to get a replacement only to find out that Plant Retrievers provides no warranty on their trees. I recommend going to Lowe's in the future, where they stand behind their product.
