On June 15 2016 I called Lordco at 1500 Fell Ave in North Vancouver and asked what time are you guys open till and what do I need to bring for my bulb warranty.
The gentle man said we are open till 8pm and we do need the original receipt
I drove to the mentioned Lordco and the story starts here:
I handed out my receipt to the sales man asking for replacement of the bulb, after 10 minutes back and forth between the receptionist lady and the sales man they figured out a way to do the paperwork, they asked me to go and remove your bulbs and bring it in.
And I did what they asked me. Again after 10 minutes of them going back and forth they handed me a set of open and used bulbs.
I asked them that the screw of the box is missing and there are scratches on top of the bulbs (it's clearly a used one) he responded no that's just a bad paint job and that's our last peace.
So, they told me if you don't want this last peace, to go home and come pick it up tomorrow
I said so you are advising me to drive away with no head lights?
Sales man responded, ok then you can take your old bulbs back.
I asked so I have to reinstall the old one-broken headlights and drive away after 35 min waiting?
He looked at me as this is your only choice,
I said okay then, give me the used ones and I'll replace it once they go out.
The payment lady, asked me to sign those docs and tried to take payment from me using the price difference from last year.
I said sorry, I called before I come and asked what I need to bring for warranty (I didn't ask the person's name) and I'm not paying anything for taking a set of used bulbs as a warranty replacement.
She gave me an attitude and with a condescending tone said; usually when people call they ask the name of the person they are talking too.
That's when I realized wo Now this is a kind of a customer service I'm dealing with.
I took the bulbs and installed them on my truck,
As I thought, the bulbs were not working. I removed them again and took them back in the store.
"Here you go as a guessed the bulbs are not working" I said.
The payment lady says "guys" and returns the bulbs to them.
And now 10 min is past that I have walked back in the store, standing by the reception and waiting for someone to tell me
sorry sir here is a new set of bulbs or please have a seat or sorry for the inconvenience or something along that line.
finally a gentleman walks up to me (after 10 to 15 minutes) and tells me are you waiting for something?
I said yes, for the bulbs.
He responds: sorry our system shows that we have three but there's only one set that you brought back in with you.
Then I realize all the time that I was waiting by the reception no one was doing anything.
So now he also tells me to go home and we will call you once we have the bulbs tomorrow..
Again I said: with no bulbs?
He said; we can return your old bulbs for now.
So I took my old bulbs back and left my phone number for them to give me a call.
I reinstalled my old bulbs and again have to not drive the car at night till Lordco calls me.
After One hour of taking the worse customer service, left the store with no positive result.
I am sure all the branches cannot be like this but this is what I experienced at this location. (1500 Fell Ave, North Vancouver) read more
