Superb pub all-round. My girlfriend and I stayed here for a week and were very happy with the accommodation: a comfy bed, waterfall shower (very unusual to see that in the UK, especially at this price!) and a generous, healthy breakfast delivered to the room the day before (croissants, fruit, cereal, filter coffee, biscuits, yoghurt, milk).
The pub itself is excellent. No less than 17 beers on tap, including a good selection of ales at very good prices, averaging £3.50 a pint. The food is surprisingly decent too, the soft, warm, large brownie is most certainly worth saving space for at the end. Staff and customers are very friendly and talkative - a welcome change to London. Oh, and they have excellent taste in background music.
