I got a confirmation, and then two emails from the calendar confirming the appt, and an email from Lyle saying he could meet with me for 15 minutes. I didn't notice that the calendar appointments were set for 3pm, instead of my requested time. I sent 2 emails, with no reply, and decided to wait until 3 pm. As of this posting, (3:30pm) I still have not heard from Lyle, nor anyone else at Prepared Accounting about my appointment. No invitation to go to meeting, nor any word as to why my appointment time changed inexplicably. I guess I will keep looking for a good CPA.

When I called to discuss the bill and asked what was the typical process for this bc I'm sure mistakes had happened in the past-we are all human-I was told that we wouldn't be welcomed back the following year and then was hung up on. I've really never experienced something like this and am hoping he was just having a bad day, that this is not normal business practice. Either way, a really horrible experience that almost cost us $7000. And I got billed for it on top.
