I would pay a good deal more than the fee she charges for the quality of service her office provides. As out of state Buyers,…read morewe hired Houlihan to represent us in purchasing a restaurant at the recommendation of a Business Broker (Joe Holstein) who provided us with a cost estimate for the transaction. Houlihan agreed the budget foreshadowed by the Business Broker was reasonable, barring unforeseeable problems. Houlihan (in my opinion) did not do his job; I had to satisfy myself the UCC filings were unrelated / unenforceable and discovered Houlihan didn't have enough sense to check with the Town of Brookfield to ensure taxes were paid in full prior t closing. The earnest ($10,000) money (we ended up closing without this attorney's involvement) ended up divided between Houlihan and Seller, etc., because it was less costly (more attorney fees) to walk away from $10,000+\- than play the game and litigate... In my opinion, this is a VERY BAD (BUT SMOOTH) PERSON to retain and I would not recommend him! Feel free to call me (480 488 5555) if you need clarification...

Our taxes were complicated because we just moved from Hawaii, where my husband was a student and I was in the military. We had a house in California that we started to rent. To top it all off, I was a California resident and my husband a Montana resident. That wasn't even the end of it, because we taxes that had been done incorrectly for the past four years... It was ugly. Well, they cleaned it up, in an orderly fashion, and got the money we weren't supposed to pay, back and made sure that everything was done correctly. I was rather surprised at how well they cleaned it up. Man, if you need to get your taxes done right! Come here, they are great! We will come here for the rest of the time we live in the area!
