No direction just that she's filing an extension. I just received a $240 invoice from the IRS due to the extension on top of what I owe. Oh did I mention Bernice charge of $250. Awful customer relations, no follow up or communication with clients. Doesn't matter you've been a loyal customer for 25 years. She needs to retire if she can't handle tax season. STAY AWAY!!

I would pay a good deal more than the fee she charges for the quality of service her office provides. Houlihan agreed the budget foreshadowed by the Business Broker was reasonable, barring unforeseeable problems. Houlihan (in my opinion) did not do his job; I had to satisfy myself the UCC filings were unrelated / unenforceable and discovered Houlihan didn't have enough sense to check with the Town of Brookfield to ensure taxes were paid in full prior t closing. The earnest ($10,000) money (we ended up closing without this attorney's involvement) ended up divided between Houlihan and Seller, etc., because it was less costly (more attorney fees) to walk away from $10,000+\- than play the game and litigate... I didn't notice that the calendar appointments were set for 3pm, instead of my requested time. I sent 2 emails, with no reply, and decided to wait until 3 pm. As of this posting, (3:30pm) I still have not heard from Lyle, nor anyone else at Prepared Accounting about my appointment. No invitation to go to meeting, nor any word as to why my appointment time changed inexplicably. I guess I will keep looking for a good CPA.
