With last year's rash of deaths of loved ones, I came to the obvious conclusion that I only have…read moreone life. That I know of anyway. Is this how I want to live it? For the first half of my life, I was a super fit athlete who ate a lot of cookie dough. For the second half of my life I worked all of the time but didn't change my eating habits. My goal is to not recognize myself by the end of this year. I will not continue looking into the mirror and longing for the thin and fit person in me... sexual metaphors aside... when I realize that all I have is NOW. Suffering = pining for someone from my past to be in my future, or lamenting that I am a size MILLION when I want to be a size 8, or saying I do not like freckles and red hair when I do not have the money nor vanity of Michael Jackson to change that about myself. All I have is NOW. The goal this year is to shed weight like kids shed clothes at Barton Springs... fast and painless and fun while, at the same time, going through an emotional breakup. This is where I knew I needed to talk with someone who could help me. With a BA in Psychology, MS in Counseling and a background in business management and corporate coaching, Pam Yagjian takes hypnotherapy to transformational levels. She listens for about the first half hour or so and takes notes. Then she hypnotizes and continues to have a conversation with my usually hidden self. Some of it I remember and some of it she reminded me of when I was no longer in a sleep-like state. She utilizes the initial talk time to guide what she says while you are hypnotized. She uncovered what I spent years hiding. It seemed fairly effortless and peaceful. We are all beautiful to the extent we allow ourselves to be known as beautiful. YOU are beautiful. Beauty eluded me, living in a body that got bigger with every breakup. What I learned with Pam was how I linked love and food at a profoundly deep level and how I put on pounds to protect myself from pain. Thirty less pounds later with 40 more to go, I can say that she works if you do. Hypnotherapy plows through deep issues in a short amount of time. All of that bullshit that I was unwilling to come clean with in talk therapy or that I simply cannot even remember that was keeping me from living the life I wanted ... is revealed in the hypnosis. Well, not all in one session... but enough to make a difference. I once said to her, "Thank you so much for helping me get through this breakup, I thought it would take years to get over this and it has taken months. You are awesome!" She smiled and said that she just listened to ME... and that I was awesome. Very empowering and very low ego. Her website includes a quote that I can see in her and how she works: "The greatest good you can do for another is not just share your riches, but to reveal to him his own." ~Benjamin Disraeli I have recommended Pam to a friend dealing with severe pain (Crohn's disease mixed with severe Arthritis mixed with debilitating Migraines) and Pam taught her to hypnotize herself so she can manage her own pain. The pain has not gone away, but now my friend has a way to actively deal with something over which she felt she had no control. I have recommended Pam to a friend who wanted to quit smoking and I learned that Pam has a 3 visit quit smoking program. She starts with an interview and if you do not really want to quit smoking, she refuses to work with you. Brilliant. I have recommended Pam to my dentist for working with patients who cannot deal with the associated pain and fear of dental appointments but who desperately need to have their teeth cared for immediately. I have recommended Pam to a friend dealing with an issue from childhood that was getting in the way of her relationship with her children and I learned that some people only take care of their own issues when they realize they may be damaging their loved ones. Now I have recommended Pam to you. All we have is now.

When taking a pill is not your thing, Pam Yagjian may be. Hypnotherapy takes your childhood and…read moreadult traumas and rewires your brain and body so that your reactions to life are healthier. Using extremely gentle and skillful techniques, Pam teaches you new ways to cope with physical or emotional issues. I saw her several years ago for physical pain. My experience allowed me to refocus on what was happening in my life and to use gentle relaxation techniques to allow my body to heal. To this day, I use her powerful self hypnosis techniques to de-stress or for any issue I want to negate. Each time I worked with Pam, my nervous system fell into a very deep sleep through her methods. And while I could hear her talk to me and send my subconscious suggestions, my body was unable to react. She explained that 20 minutes of self hypnosis is equal to several hours of deep sleep. Whenever I tell her she is amazing, she turns it around to "You are amazing." Pam is a healer of extraordinary measure without ego or judgment. I recommend her for whatever is hurting you emotionally or physically. Your life starts the day you enter her office. Do it. Now.

It is a real pleasure to write this review for Dylan. He is really onto something big with this…read moremethod and approach to coaching. First off, he is not evangelical by any means. He is not out to fix you, he is not out to show you something UH-MAY-ZING that only HE just discovered, any kind of bullsh** like that. He's just a guy who's been through stuff like all of us, but he offers a strong optimism and focus that I have not witnessed with other coaches or programs. Covid left my life in tatters and the bright side was probably that there was no way to go but up. However, up could mean many different things, and I wanted to get things right due to lost time and my general OCD tendencies. A close college friend introduced me to Dylan and away we went. I didn't feel lost, but I just didn't have good direction. Who was I after the pandemic? Who had I always been? A romantic breakup didn't help things - I needed a great coach, and that great coach became Dylan. Working with Dylan was empowering: I felt like I was showing up for myself. He never made me feel like he was doing me a favor; he never acted like an armed forces superior; he never got annoyed, angry or pushy - he just listened, reflected, and was patient in everything we did. He's plenty humorous too - we had great laughs about everything under the sun. He voices a lot of the negative phrases we tell ourselves in the deep crevices in our minds - because he's been there, not because he's Buddha - there's a difference. His modules are also fantastic - they are agnostic as to anything subjective such as religion or politics - they are simple, English-language modules that are focused on the self, the brain, and your mission in life. However, don't let this simplicity fool you: they reach deep inside you and extract what you've been wanting to extract: your values, your mission, and your purpose. They are not, nor do they promise to be one-stop fixes - I have been through the modules a few times - I always uncover something new. Dylan doesn't consider this module repetition as any kind of failure or shortcoming: in fact, he encourages it. We are always changing - why not use the same methods to uncover new information? I did, and it worked (and still works) every time. On a banal, but still necessary level, I know myself more after working with Dylan. I have more material for cover letters and interviews. I am more confident in what I say at networking functions. But you and I both know that it doesn't stop there, right? Right. I know what my place is in the world, and maybe, what I am meant to do. That's a gift that keeps on giving. I've been able to pay it forward (no no no, not by forwarding Dylan's materials!) by reflecting other people's values back to them and asking them good questions. We all help each other - and it works. Dylan's extended program of accountability and tracking is a godsend - I have made so much more progress as a result. I am not just a clearer and more focused individual after my work with Dylan; I am a better person overall.
