There are several garage door companies in town, all with comparable products/pricing. Take a tip from a small business owner--when you screw up the correct response is: "I am so sorry we dropped the ball on this, Mr. XXXX, be assured we are going to go the extra mile to make up for it. EMRG sent someone out to take pictures for the estimate, and he proposed that we hire Spire (an affiliated company) to handle hail damage to our roof as well; this way, our insurer could place the siding and roof on the same claim and charge only the one deductible. It was a very hard sell, and I had the feeling that I was talking to a salesman rather than a specialist. We like our roofer and told the EMRG/Spire rep, "No thanks, but please DO send that siding estimate." Over the course of a month, I made this request several times. At first they merely delayed. In the end, they stopped replying and ghosted me altogether. The work on the shed was good, but the crappy treatment afterwards earns them no more than three stars.

They dumped a bunch of rock in, then cut 28 plantings holes in it to install some ground cover. Two weeks later they still had not shown up to plant the creeping thyme; three weeks later they said sorry, we couldn't get the plants; then they just stopped responding to emails or calls. Did not even offer to come back and re-cover the ugly holes, I had to do that myself. Three years later the yard is a butchered mess and I am going to have to hire somebody else to try and fix it. Horrible, expensive experience.

He climbed on roof, come down and grabbed his caulking gun. 15 minutes later he came back down and said you don't need a roof. He showed me pictures where the squirrels ate holes in the lead vent covers. WOW!! The first roofer was going to charge me $9800 for a new roof that Rock-Crete fixed in 15 minutes. I will be building a new house next year and I will defiantly call them out. Honesty goes a long way. It's so hard these days knowing who you can trust. Thank God there are still honest people still around in this day and time we live in.
