I can't say enough good things about their work. We originally hired them to replace our roof and…read morebuild a new fence. We were so impressed with the quality of their work that we hired them again to paint the house, install a new shower and add a mini-split system to our garage/hobby room. They weren't satisfied until we were satisfied. If there was anything we didn't like, they fixed it without hesitation. Their craftsmanship and attention to detail were outstanding. Most importantly, every member of their team was amazing. Everyone was professional, friendly, respectful, and treated us like family throughout the entire process. We couldn't be happier with the quality of their work, their professionalism, and the they treated us. We would hire them again in a heartbeat. In fact, we're already planning to have them build a new deck once our above-ground pool is installed! The job site was left clean and ready for use. The pic show us adding new landscaping and mess is ours. See before and after pics.

I received a Chamberlain super quiet belt driven motor. All in all I rate their service as 6 star service and would definitely use them again!

I have used these folks a couple of times for my rental property in Bryan. They have been quick,…read moreefficient, and reasonably priced. For the life of me I can not remember their names, Trent and Mike? The first was a broken garage door opener. It was an older model and he quoted me both a price to repair and time to order parts or a price to replace. I chose to replace and rather just select from a few options they let me pick any unit from Lowe's or Home Depot. They bought and installed it with only the installation fee. The second time my dishwasher. Same thing, it needed a new circuit panel which was almost the price of a new washer. So I selected the one I wanted and they installed. I could also have just let them pick one out for me. They have always answered my calls directly or called me back promptly. They have an extra fee for the weekends, so I have had my work done weekdays and they can usually get to it in a day or so. (unless it is Aug as A & M student body is all moving into town!) I recommend them and will be using them again.

Ace Handyman Service got the job done, yes, but it did not go as smooth as I would have hoped. I…read morecalled for them to install a new outdoor shed as a doghouse for my fiance's dog for when she moves in. Theresa, the woman I spoke to at their office, ensured me that there would be proffesionals working on this project and gave me a hefty but reasonable quote based on the projected hours that the 2 men would spend building the shed. The quote was around $2,000 and it was constantly repeated that the price was based on the hourly rate. Honestly that's a pretty steap price for building a shed. I had no free time to do this project on my own as I was planning a wedding, still in the process of moving, and preparing for a baby to be born on top of my full time job. I now wish that I bit the bullet on that one and did it myself because I would have saved myself $3,600. These proffesionals were constantly complaining about the manual and claiming that the instructions were wrong (in my line of work this is common for people that just can't figure it out and want to blame the product for their own lack of understanding). If it was hard to understand, I don't get why they sent 6 different people to work on this thing, anyone who's led a project in construction before knows that when things get handed to other people constanly it gets messy, and the new people have to play catch up trying to pick up where the last people left off. This makes sense when you realize that they make more based on how long they take on the project. Not only this but there are several spots where screws are supposed to go where there aren't, meaning on the finished product there are gaps between the floor and the walls. I understand that it's hot outside and sometimes the heat can take a lot out of you, but as someone who works on residential and commercial air conditioners for a living (meaning spending the bulk of time on rooftops or attics where the heat is amplified), the guys could suck it up. It honestly seemed like most of the time when I checked on the guys working on the shed, they were either reading the manual for excessive periods of time, complaining about the heat, or complaining about how some auto shop was trying to screw them over by selling them an overpriced service. (Ironic, huh). The property owner here where I live also reported to me that there were pieces of our seperate project that were taken by the individuals working on the project. I don't doubt that we'll get them back, but I do feel that it's worth mentioning. All in all the job did get done, the shed absolutely did get built, but they dragged their feet a bit, I paid way more than initially planned, and the final product could have been a little more refined.
