Edwin from Kingreen Services texted to schedule an appointment at the house to review the area for a bid. The date and time (5/9th @ 6-7pm window) was texted back with Edwin confirming the appointment. On 5/9th @ 7:15pm, I texted Edwin on a status of his arrival and he replied that he had a crisis and not able to make it. All week, I did not receive communication to reschedule. So I texted Edwin asking if he wishes to bid the job. He responded "YES" and rescheduled for Monday 5/16th @ 7-8am. 8am passed and I texted Edwin on the status of his arrival. I received a text " No I am not. I', starting to feel this was not meant to be." Are you kidding me? Terrible customer service and follow through. I do not recommend Kingreen Services.

You know how you find a company and they do a great job, you forget to thank them, including adding something for Yelp, that was me, until today! We've had a water leak for 16 months, I've had three companies come out and blame it on everything but the water lines, they recommended all types of fixes. I did those, turned on the irrigation system again and BAM, water leak, this time its substantial. I remember SLM as a subcontractor and remember how professional and quick they were to respond. They fit me into their already BUSY schedule and were here at 6:45 AM this morning, in the hour, they fixed four leaks, one major, three other small ones. This is a brand new home, should not have had the problem I am so grateful SLM has taken care of this. If you want great service, they should be on the top of your list!

Hired Greentex in May 2020 for a landscape job in Wylie, TX. The job consisted primarily of adding…read morea large flower bed for plants around a pool, stone-edged, and adding stepping stones to grass to create a path. While initially good to deal with, the quality provided for this work (given the amount paid) was overall sloppy and disappointing. This was mainly due to two reasons, i) what seemed to be inexperienced crews that were sent out, and ii) a lack of supervision of the work (even after I let them know of several complaints). Flower Beds - Initially liked the look of work done (prior to the stone work going in), however, I purchased three 15g Taylor Junipers. One of the three appeared to have been damaged either in transport or in planting as several of the branches or cracked/broken. (See picture) I was told that the plant was "healthy" and they just needed to trim it up. After several requests, this was never done. Also, it's only been 4 days since install and it appears the Company either did not properly deweed the grass under the beds or did not do it at all, as there is already grass growing through the mulch. The stone work done on the beds looks awful. I got home after the stone was initially done and while it looks acceptable in certain areas, in others it looked awful. The crew either had no experience in laying stone, or was in a rush. I spent my evening pulling up the stone before it set in. Upon several complaints, the same crew was sent back with a "what's wrong" mentality as if the supervisor had not informed them of my communications to the team. Even after doing touch ups on what I pointed out, the end result is VERY rough and sloppy. See pictures. Stepping stones - this was going to be what I assumed a very easy task. I asked they lay a few stepping stones in the grass to create a path. At first, all the crew did was just lay stones on top of the grass instead of setting in. After a couple complaints, they came back, and dug them in but did not balance (and pretty sure this crew has not done this work before). The stones were still wobbly when walked on, so we asked for a third/fourth time to be done correctly. The end result, now, is a mud pit of stone/dirt as the crew tore up all sod in the area. It looks downright awful/embarrassing. See picture. I have engaged another company to come back to fix as my multiple complaints were not heard (same thing as above, the same crew that had done the work incorrectly multiple times would come back not knowing what to or how to fix - a supervision issue). Overall, I expected more experience and supervision in what should have been a fairly straight forward, but expensive (~$6k) project. I would not recommend this company to others.

It's not often I find a contractor that I'm enthusiastic about, but my experience with Owens…read moreIrrigation (Brandon) was outstanding. When our home was built (on spec), the builder didn't do anything to ensure that the drainage (from the downspouts) was routed appropriately. Our home has a courtyard in the front, and the majority of rainwater was dumped right into the courtyard, where it ran down and across our front yard. Two other downspouts drained across the front yard as well, and the results was erosion that prevented grass from growing. I had trouble finding a contractor who specialized in this kind of work--most focus on sprinklers, gutters, or foundation work. I needed someone to bury these drain lines, including cutting the concrete in the courtyard to get the lines underground. Owens took care of all of it, including running one drain line under a sidewalk without cutting it. All of the work was done professionally, and there was no uncharge for unexpected problems, like the concrete being much thicker than expected, requiring jackhammering to get through it all. Brandon listened to what I want, and didn't try to talk me into shortcuts or options I wasn't interested in. It was an excellent experience, and Brandon offered expertise in other areas (like sod) as well. The guy is VERY busy. I'd suggest being patient, it's worth it. Great work at a fair price.
