Luckily I got it fixed elsewhere and its still a cute top I love to wear, but the fact that I had to take it somewhere to get it fixed up, it cost me more than I wanted to pay and its fine now, but what kind of crap is that really? Only reason I still gave this place 3 stars is because I do like my tank tops for dance class and the people there are really nice people. Both times I've been in the lady gave me a thing or two for free, but other than the tanks, ill probably not buy anything else there unless I like to waste my money. Nice people, cute clothes, but it cheap stuff that they probably just buy from downtown anyway. So buyer beware. It was about 10-10:30am. The sign on the door said OPEN. I parked, fed the meter and walked over. I went to pull on the door only to find it LOCKED. I knocked. No answer. I called the numbers on the door. No answer. Lights were on but no one is home. So frustrating. I just want to pick up my dress already! Today, 5/2 I was going to be passing by the area, so I gave them a call. Let's see if anyone answered and more importantly... if anyone was there!?!? A lady by the name of Maribel answered the phone. THIS IS THE REASON FOR MY 1 STAR REVIEW. Maribel answered and quickly let me know that she is only there helping Carmen. Okay..... So I let her know that I needed to pick up a dress. She then stated that she didn't know about the dresses and that it would have to be Carmen who would need to assist me with that. I asked when would Carmen be in so that SHE could assist me Maribel said that she should be in soon. WHAT DOES SOON MEAN. IN THE NEXT 10 or 30 or AN HOUR FROM NOW??? I asked Maribel for a time frame so that I could plan my afternoon. She then got extremely RUDE. Maribel then said SHOW UP OR NOT THAT'S UP TO YOU. And she hung up! Why in the world would you just hang up on a customer?!?! Clearly it's not her business because that's not at all how you treat your customers. I just need to get my dress back at this point. After that.... I never want to deal with this place ever again. Edit to add UPDATE: -2 Stars at this point. May 3rd I called at 1pm to see if anyone was there. Carmen answered. I let her know that o needed to come by and pick up the dress. She asked what time. I said around 2:30pm. She asked if I could make it between 4:30 & 5pm. I agreed. I just assumed that she had an appointment around 2:30pm. I would respect that. It is after all a business. Well she called me back to 4pm to ask if I could come even later because SHE WAS STILL WORKING ON THE DRESS. I'm sorry.... what do you mean still working on the dress?!?!?! You said you'd have it done in 2 days! You've had it 7 days longer than expected and you never finished?!?! I didn't let her know of my frustration but as soon as I get my dress TOMORROW MORNING AT 8:30am, Finished or Not. I am not ever supporting this local small business owner again! My teenager decided she wants to go in for one item, and ends up using me as a personal shopping cart. I was holding so many items on hangers in my hands, on my arms, and was also holding a bottle of Dove body wash where the top was already broken (yes this is an important piece of information). My daughter walks to the dressing room, and standing there is ANGIE!!! Now, Angie is smiling and talking to the other customers who had the same skin color as her (ALSO IMPORTANT). We go over and she stops smiling. Ok coo whatever. My daughter goes to the room to try on her item, and everything that I'm holding is starting to fall off the hangers and my hands. I see a bar stool that's NOT behind where you are not allowed, and I ask ANGIE if I could sit there. She looks at me with a frown and says "NO". I respond, "ooooohkay......" and proceed to walk away. Now all the clothes are about to fall and the body wash that's already broken is about to fall and spill everywhere. What do I do? I turn around and go to the bar stool which was the only chair is sight, and try to sit the body wash and some of the items down on the stool to position everything correctly, and HERE COMES ANGIE IMMEDIATELY GRABBING THE STOOL FROM UP UNDER THE STUFF AND STARTS YELLING "NOOOOOO YOU CANT SIT THERE NOO".... Now WAIT ONE GOT D*** MINUTE! I was not about to sit down, I was putting the stuff down so I wouldn't drop it and she had the nerves to pull the D*** stool. Now here's the issue. What if I was about to sit there and ignore your rude a** "NO" the first time. I would have fallen on my A** and all hell would have broken loose. OMG I WAS SOOOOO MAD & FLABBERGASTED THAT SHE DID THAT and cursed her the heck OUT!! YES I DID bc I was nice the first time and ignored your obvious dislike towards us. Not only did she do it, but she started laughing, smiling, and talking in Spanish. OH ITS FUNNY. I felt so discriminated against from the moment we walked to the dressing room. I told the manager, but I left out the store before I could cry from anger and frustration with the way some ppl are with others of a different race.
