There was a live DJ, a hype man keeping the crowd engaged, and an overall fun atmosphere that made it feel like a party. The food was delicious--think soul food brunch with flavorful dishes--and the drinks were just as good. My biggest piece of advice: make a reservation. If you don't have one, be prepared to wait. We were initially told the wait would be about 45 minutes, but after waiting that long, we were told we still had to wait until all guests with reservations had been seated. Since reservations kept arriving, it felt like we might never get a table. After speaking with management and going back and forth, we were finally seated after about an hour. Once seated, it also took a while for our food to arrive, but the quality of the food, drinks, and overall experience made it worth it. Just know that Mariposa is off the Las Vegas Strip, so you'll need to venture away from the Strip to get there.
