We went on a 3 day adventure for our 1st Margaritaville and Sea Cruise!…read moreBoarding was a breeze! The staff was super friendly and they had us on board shortly after we arrived. At 1st glance that ship was very clean and fresh. Plenty of smiling faces around and everyone was happy to be there. As per the usual we had to get acquainted with the ship and find our muster station. (that was easy) Now on to some food and drink. It was raining but we made the best of it and most did. Room time! Spacious and well kept. Large port window and the standard bedding. (We did NOT have a fridge!) We asked our porter and he said "it was broken so they removed it" WHAT!? Ok :( The club was great every night and the white party even better! This is a small ship but still a fun ship. If its close to you, take a chance on it if you like smaller crowds this is the one for you! See you Soon!

First and LAST time on a Margaritaville cruise…read more The port parking was easy to find. We parked and checked our luggage with the porter. We entered the terminal to check in. Check in was easy but busy. We were assigned the time between 12pm-1pm to check in. Once on the ship, it was down hill. We went to our muster station, which was not labeled to find easily. Completed our muster. Then we went to get lunch from the buffet. The options were limited at the actual buffet area where you serve yourself. They had the buffet, cheeseburgers, tacos, pizza, and sandwiches. The food was mediocre at best this day and throughout the week. It was a struggle to find something to eat that was edible and tasted good. Even the jello was tasteless. Once our room was ready, we went to it. Luggage was not there upon arrival, but it arrived shortly after. It was a struggle with the AC in the room from the moment we checked in. We told our room steward immediately, who said once the ships sets sail, the air would work better. That never happened. It was consistently warm to hot in our room. Guest services was notified a few times via phone and in person. But it was not fixed. Not even sure someone came to our room. We waited several times but we never made contact with the person who came to "fix" it. We made the best of it but it was not comfortable at all. Most of the time we were hot and sweating at night and while in our room getting ready for the day or dinner. Mohamad was fantastic! He was our room steward. He took amazing care of us and our room. Our room was always clean and we always had fresh and clean towels! Entertainment was lacking for sure and limited. There was a lot of time where there was very little to nothing going on and to do. The excursions through the ship were limited as well. We picked to do the Margaritaville Resort in Nassau. We walked off the ship and through the port to transportation. This part was easy and well organized. The resort itself was clean and the staff were friendly. The pool was nice and not crazy crowded. The beach was another story. Absolutely packed and barely room to walk down to the waters edge. Not sure if it's only for Margaritaville Resort guests and day passes or if it's open to the public too. Drink package felt pricey at $360 for 4 days, and this was on sale. We had two port days, one embarkation day, and one sea day. I would NOT ever cruise again with Margaritaville.

17th Annual Wine Spectators Grand Tasting was held at the Palm Beach County Convention Center…read more Sunday tickets were $250 a piece and this included dish and dessert tastings from 60 South Florida restaurants. It was also 100+ wine/spirit offerings to taste also. The atmosphere was lively and everyone was enjoying the food/drinks and in good spirits! This is my type of crowd and I really enjoyed myself. Creekstone Farms hosted a local chef competition for $10k donation to a local charity. Celebrity guest chefs, Robert Irvine, Tiffany Faison, and Maneet Chauhan were in attendance. I cannot wait until next years! Lastly, Garage parking was $6 flat, way cheaper than City of West Palm $15 rate downtown.

Really fun food & wine event put on in WPB, featuring over 100 wines (all over 90 points) and more…read morethan 50 restaurants from South Florida. The hosts this year included Robert Irvine, Maneet Chauhan, and Tiffani Faison. The event seemed very well organized, with tents spread out all over the floor of the convention center (several aisles and rows). You picked up a wine glass right when you walked in. The wines they had were excellent, and the samples of food were even better. The few downsides of this event this year (2024) were the LONG line to get in and the amount of people in attendance (shoulder to shoulder with everyone). I was also disappointed that an hour and a half before the event ended, vendors started running out of food. I missed out on 4 stands I REALLY wanted to try because "they ran out of food" or "they ran out of plates/utensils". Big letdown when you pay a high price for a ticket. Did enjoy seeing some of the vendors selling things like merchandise, clothes, ornaments, etc. I would go to another event- but with the hopes that there would be less people (I've heard there's been way less in the past). Tip- buy tickets when they first are released and save over $100/person'
