While the narration was excellent and the crew was friendly, there was no question the weather was going to be dangerous and there were multiple requests to reschedule. One whole hour was spent in an incredible lightning and thunderstorm. If the captain had even offered a shorter tour that would have been preferable to having us out in the water in a dangerous situation. Took advantage of a last minute booking with Jupiter Water Tours and sure happy we did. I was a bit surprised when we boarded a "dive boat", as the boat is also serves scuba divers in the the morning. Boat was extremely comfortable with seating outside - open air, and as my wife preferred seating in a "covered" area. Also spent some time on the bow of the boat Captians Zach and Janine were awesome. Zach piloted the boat up the ICW while Janine narrated the journey sharing information on the history of the area along with pointing out who owned many of the homes. Return trip they reversed roles and both of them were happy to field all out questions. So, yes this was fun and adventurous afternoon. read more

They provided drinks and snacks and you are allowed to bring your drinks from square grouper along for the ride! The staff was so sweet and the boat drive was smooth sailing. Got this tour as something fun to do with my mom for her birthday. We had to reschedule 3 times... crazy Floridian weather.. lol. Anyway, the staff was really great about keeping us informed of the weather and reschedule when we had to cancel. They were really great about, honestly, it wasn't their fault so you can't really get mad about things like that. Anyway, on the actual tour. I want to say the boat holds about 20 to 25 people maybe? The crew was super nice. We got there early so we ate at the Square Grouper Bar (review on that separately). They were trying to be accommodating for some people who were running late, so that seemed nice of them. The tour is about 2 hours, starts at the Jupiter Inlet lighthouse and move up the intercoastal. The tour guide was friendly and told us about the big houses and a bit of the history of the area but there wasn't a whole to talk about. It was nice to just ride in the boat since I don't have a boat :-p Aboard the boat, they offered snacks (crackers, chips, and cookies) and canned soda. Overall, it's a fun and relaxing thing to do in WPB. read more

I found this tour through Groupon, and it was a gift for Valentine's Day from my boyfriend. We have been enjoying doing boat cruises when we go on vacations, so we were excited to try this one out during our stay in Jupiter. They are conveniently located by Square Grouper Tiki Bar, which made for a nice day of day drinking before the cruise. They allow you to bring your own alcohol or drinks from the bar, which makes for a relaxing time. They also provide sodas and snacks as well. The two hour boat tour took us along the Jupiter Inlet, and our tour guide was very informative in telling us about the celebrity houses along the way, the history of the area, and little-known facts. It was so much fun, and we were able to ride in the front of the boat. The weather was perfect, the sun was shining, and the people we were on the boat with were so much fun to be around. We had a great time, and we highly recommend this as something to do while in Jupiter. read more

I was excited when one of the girls from work gave me a gift certificate for this. I am a local and had never heard of this tour prior. We chose the 4 pm ride, which is nice because the sun is not too hot. Unfortunately, it did decide to rain on our 2 hour journey, but there is cover on the boat, so we were able to stay dry. The boat leaves from the end of the doc at Square Grouper. There is a parking lot and free valet available. We brought a cooler with some adult beverages and snacks, but there were snack packs, water, and soda available at no charge. We went up the Jupiter Inlet and were given the history of Jupiter, history on the lighthouse, and celebrity properties were pointed out. They stopped the tour talk on the way back, which allowed for us to sit back and enjoy the ride. I felt there was not too much talking by the guide. The guide offered to take our picture with the lighthouse in the background. Susan was a fabulous Caption. Looking forward to taking some guests the next time they are in town. read more

We spent a couple of hours this afternoon on the Jupiter Water Tours boat, cruising lazily from Jupiter Inlet up the Indian River, then back again. The boat was comfortable, and Joe, the guide, was friendly and knew a lot about local history, which made the tour more interesting. It was lovely to look out at the natural beauty (pelicans, ospreys, palm and banyan trees and much more) and at the fancy houses that line the river. The weather was perfect. (I'm sure the water tours folks had something to do with that.) We couldn't have ordered a nicer afternoon. read more

Took a sunset cruise with Jupiter Water Tours, it was an amazing time. There was a great family celebrating an 80th birthday party, and the experience was relaxing and so much fun! You are able to bring snacks and your beverage of choice on the tour and the 2hrs on the boat was definitely worth it. This is an OK tour. You don't go far; just on the intercostal around part of Jupiter Island with the guide pointing out houses of some famous people; mostly golfers. Not a large tour boat and we were lucky it was a week day and less than the full capacity of guests they try to pack on. The best part of this trip was the restaurant where the boat is docked; The Square Grouper Tiki Bar. Great atmosphere and views with the outdoor seating. As we ate here after the tour, we know the food is good as well. There was an unpleasant occurrence during the boat tour. The guide Joe, decided to let us all know his right wing political views with a false salacious story about former President Bill Clinton at golfer Greg Normans house. He ended his account with a reference to Hillary Clinton on a broomstick. That was unwelcome and unprofessional. We went on this tour for fun and relaxation and not to hear derogatory political comments, no matter what political persuasion. read more

What a wonderful time my wife and I had on this Sunset Cruise. After a very stressful week we so needed this and how lucky that owner Steve and his wife were on this cruise as well.
