Looks is a bit of a random shop really, their storefront sign and display seem to contradict each other. The sign looks like something you would find in a cowboy town in the 1940's, but the display showing a new range of suitcases and travel bags for the whole of Bold Street to see. It's not a one of a kind shop, you can buy luggage even cheaper in Primark and other department stores around town. However, it's not just suitcases that they sell, they also stock other random bits such as backpacks, umbrellas, pillows and earplugs, basically all your travelling essentials. The shop's always quite busy and seems to be middle of the road to high end in terms of pricing!

They might fall short of selling food but they do have a basic cafe/restaurant where you can have a hearty lunch for cheap prices. Its the nature of their departments that makes them so popular with people of all ages. I can't think of anything they don't sell, especially when it comes to domestic requirements. Their crockery ranges from low to high standards similarly with their electronic appliances so whatever you are seeking, there should be an item that wins you over 9 out of 10 times. Not to mention, the same goes with shoes; the place is packed with them! And clothes too, the list is endless. If you're looking to treat yourself or find a gift, then TJ's is probably your first port of call.

These bargains usually end up as my birthday or christmas presents. Like the much lamented Lewis' which has closed down on Renshaw Street, TJ's is a landmark store within the city. It is a much more modest department store than Lewis' was and can be seen as more of a front runner to the now universal pound shops. The key to TJ's is the bargains. It covers all sorts of quality products and ranges - although nothing exclusive or top of the range - and at the cheapest possible prices.

To be fair the shop is as bright and inviting as you would expect from the new units in the Peter's Lane development and the staff were as friendly and pleasant as you can be to a bewildered and out-of-his-depth young man in this scenario. What I could gather is that they have a lot of handbags and purses with little dogs on them - not sure what the significance of that is although understanding as I do that women tend to stuff as much crap as they can within their hadbags maybe it is some sort of seal of approval to let you know should you wish you can even get a small dofg in here.

There was one particular suitcase I spotted which I thought was quite an innovative design because it had flexibility for manoeuvring in all positions but it did cost around £60 and wasn't the biggest of luggages. However, this is still a great shop for the odd gift or treat as it doesn't fail to catch the eye plus the quality of material is decent. Since the area is quite spacious, this gives you plenty of breathing space when there are more customers present. Also, there is always a friendly member of staff willing to assist and greet you. You couldn't really ask for much more for an elegant and charming shop like Radley. Even though prices are a little moderate, I would recommend the shop for its quality and uniqueness.

When I think of Primark I think of big queues, big crowds, modern stores and cheap clothes but also…read moreclothes on the lower-quality side, mainly down to the price with Primark basically being a clothing version of ALDI. Located on Church Street, it is basically right bang in the heart of the One and the centre of Liverpool so the location here is really good, the store is quite large and is in an old building so is nowhere near as modern on the outside, or even the inside as other Primark stores I have visited including stores in Gateshead, Cardiff, Newcastle and Amsterdam, most of which I have visited in the past and awarded a three-star rating to. A lack of renovation could let the store down more than ever now, following H&M locating into the old BHS unit, with a more modern store as the retailer is similar to Primark so action is needed soon. This branch of Primark in a way reminds me of Southport's store, inside it isn't too impressive or modern - which is a shame and it contradicts what you would expect considering Liverpool is a big city, the second biggest in north-west England. I didn't like this store, not just because of the poor overall feel but it just was really untidy, I lost count of clothes on the floor before even getting to the men's section (the ladies section os on the ground floor), and by the looks of things, it looked like it had been that way for a while and staff were unbothered by it, and not doing anything to change it, making it an unsatisfactory and unpleasant place to shop overall. An untidy, uninspiring store which even lets Primark down, if you compare this to other branches of Primark including those in Gateshead and Amsterdam, which I did like, it looks like a completely different store, mainly down to the overall feel, staff and cleanliness of a store, this isn't a store I can reccomend or justify anything over a one-star rating for on this occasion.

It does tend to attract a lot of students and for those who love a bargain, this is the place to shop. Quality of clothing can be unpredictible but it all depends. If you're fortunate, you may find a garment to last you more than a few years. The store itself is plentiful, serving 5 floors which has something to suit everybody. There is even a homeware section on the top tier. Primark is a shop which you'll either love or hate, and I love it!

Online shopping experience review only…read more The first time I heard of this company was back in 2018, during a visit to EPCOT - UK pavilion. It was when I purchased a smaller version of their classic satchel. The sales rep I dealt with was super nice and was able to make customize my bag by adding my initials in silver. Fast forward to 2020 and I get this notification that they going to hold another " Seconds" sale. Like any person, who loves a good deal - I did hop on it. The way it was organized was excellent - since they conducted the sale over a period of 2 days with new inventory being added every 6 hours or so. I will admit that it was challenging for me, since I am 5 hours behind GMT. And you had to act fast, as "don't think about it - just buy it mentality" - because I did lose out an beautiful hunter green one. Overall, I was able to secure a satchel or two for an excellent price. What I think amazed me most is the fact that I purchased the bags about two and a half weeks ago and they arrived on my door step so quickly. I have to give them credit for that, since the company is based out in the UK and I am located in North America. There was a minor mix up where they had set aside the wrong bag for me, but they were willing to fix it. Other things I love about this company is a family owned. If the bag is purchased off their regular site and at full price - there is a bevy of customisation options that can make the bag truly yours.

The Leather Satchel Co - The poor lighting is on me. But this is a 15-inch classic satchel. Even if it is a "seconds", it is a beautiful bag.
