Alex was one of my favorite vendors to work with (it feels weird even calling her a vendor, because now I feel like we're close friends!). There are vendors that are at your wedding to perform a service and get out as quickly as possible. Not Alex! She is patient, listens to what your preferences are, gives guidance on visions without being overpowering, and is humble enough to make any tweaks or changes you might want. She is confident in her work and it shows! Alex made me feel beautiful during my wedding. She also made me feel totally comfortable because of her outgoing personality! Alex's sanitation practices are top notch (I feel an important callout to make in today's climate). She doesn't cheap out and takes care of her brides in the right way. She is also extremely professional. I was particular about how I wanted to handle contracts, and I asked for a lot of clarity and confirmation with payments. Never an issue for Alex. Her contract and payment system is super professional, which made it extremely seamless to work with her, understand the terms of our contract, and also ensure everything was handled from start to finish. Amidst everything else and the numerous vendors you might work with especially during an Indian wedding, it was a breath of fresh air to never have to worry about the small details when working with Alex. Ms. Painted Lady, Alex, is everything you need and want for your wedding weekend. She will make you feel like the most beautiful bride and she will make the hours of hair and makeup the most enjoyable time. Ding dong! Alex, you're beautiful. Thanks for all that you did to make this such a special moment. Forever grateful!

She made me feel natural in my own skin and like the most beautiful bride on one of the most important weekends of my life and I cannot highly recommend her enough! Thank you so much, Alex!

After multiple back-and-forth…read moreconversations to finalize pricing, dates, and availability--which already took a lot of effort--Ara ended up canceling last minute at 12am the day of my event. What's worse, she didn't even directly inform me. I only found out after trying to contact her several times with no response. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable, especially considering the amount of time and trust that went into the planning. Reliable communication and commitment are the bare minimum in this industry, and unfortunately, that was completely lacking in my experience.

Over the…read morepast six months, they have truly been a blessing in my life, not just for beauty but for care and compassion. After I had neck surgery, I was bedridden for nearly two months and physically couldn't lift my arms to brush or wash my hair. I ended up with severe matting on one side of my head and was honestly scared I would have to cut off a large amount of my hair. Lala (Lanira), the owner, spent over 3.5 hours patiently and gently removing a massive mat. She SAVED my hair. I will never forget that kindness or the care she showed me during such a vulnerable time. Since then, she's helped me with protein treatments and hair care to rebuild the thickness and fullness I lost. My hair is finally growing back healthier, and it's because of her expertise and dedication. She truly cares about her clients and their confidence. I've also had my hair braided several times by Beunka, and she is just as wonderful -- sweet, thorough, and incredibly talented. Every style I've gotten has been beautiful and long-lasting. They do everything: extensions, treatments, braiding, and natural hair care. They are especially amazing with Latin warm toned hair hair like mine, along with curly, mixed, and textured hair. They even have barbers in the back for men's cuts and braids. It's a full-service, welcoming salon for everyone. Most importantly, they treat you like family. You don't feel like just another appointment -- you feel cared for. If you're looking for a salon that combines skill, professionalism, and genuine heart, this is the place. I recommend them wholeheartedly.
