The sales staff are politre and friendly, they dont pounce on you the minute you start looking around a car which is a good change! We have been lied to about dates parts were ordered, our car had been sat in their workshop for 8 weeks before some of the parts were ordered, Mercedes haven't got an answer to this. They offer zero remorse for the fact their vehicle is faulty, there is no eta on our vehicle being back on the road. We purchased this vehicle for our business needs, the length of time it has been unsafe to drive and therefore off the road is ridiculous. We are entering the fourth month it has been unroadworthy! We have complained to Mercedes UK as well as the branch but are not getting anywhere. We aren't in a like for like courtesy vehicle either. The experience so far has been the most disappointing level of customer service I have ever received. Avoid at all costs.

MB Chelmsford is owned by a faceless nondescript company called Witan Jardine (Witless Jardine?). I recently tried to test drive a lovely CL500 for sale and arranged a rest drive. However once I arrived I was told the car was not actually for sale anymore. A few tears later the same thing happenedthey advertise on the MB UK Approved Used website which apparently belong to customers getting their cars serviced.. The thing sounds illegal and very dodgy. The staff don't understand the cars they sell particularly well and are frankly not worth bothering with. Whilst there are better dealers (with much more realistic sales margins), I wonder why Mercedes can't re-establish the old dealer network. Waterhouse Mercedes fortunately still service cars as an official MB garage and ironically are the number 1 Mercedes service centre in the UK! That's from customer satisfaction surveys of all MB centres in the UK! It says it all I think!

They stock the most popular models on there forecourt though, so you still have a good few to look through. There cars are always keep looking shiny and clean. The sales men dont pounce on you like some do. They will let you take any car out for a test drive and all staff are very helpful and friendly. Inside the showroom there are toilets and a coffee machine with an area to sit while you wait.

No staff outside on the forecourt and there were a number of potential customers milling around. Went inside to find no staff on the shop floor either, was seen by 3 members of staff hiding in the offices as the back and after 5 minutes standing around not one of them aknowledged our presense, even tho they had clearly seen us waiting. As we went to leave one of them finally appeared and asked if we wanted something? Told him that he'd taken to long to see us and that we were leaving, to which his resonse was "whatever" I hope this is just a blip in customer service either that or all these 5 star reviews are fake, but rest assured we will not be taking our business elsewhere. We will also be conacting the mangement tomorrow to lodge a formal complaint as that level of contempt is disgusting. Cannot give zero stars otherwise would have been zero stars

Its has a huge forecourt full of different models of Vauxhalls all at competitive prices. The staff do like to come out and pounce on you as soon as you start looking around the cars though, which can be anoyying if youve only come to look. They will let you test drive any car they have on the forecourt happlily. I suggest you do go there during opening hours though as if you go after and look around the cars an alarm sets off saying the police will be called!

This dealership can be found on the main road Waterhouse Lane, this road is always very busy i the…read morerush hour times in the morning and evenings. Which is a pain which Peugeot ask you to bring your car down for 9am. I had my cars cambelt changed here, the price was very good for the amount of labour it took to change. The staff were great in the servicing and parts department. Very helpful and funny. They even gave my car a courtsey wash after they had done the work. It went in at 9am and i had my car back by 3pm all clean. Great service!
