I've been going to Lonnie's for pedicures for years! It is a 5 star amazing spa like experience? No. However it's clean, quick, and reasonably priced. I spend less than $25 for a pedicure. They sterilize and soak tools in the main area which I appreciate. They scrub the soaker bowls great too. In the last few years they updated the chairs, the massages are decent & the chairs are comfy. They use OPI & NUskin prodocts. They also offer shellac and gel. Good for routine pedicures! read more

4 of my friends and I were visiting from out of town and went to Lonnie's for pedicures, we all agreed that our pedicures were not good. First they rushed us, they did not massage our feet at all and it was crazy hot in the salon. We will not be back! We did tip our nail techs however they really did not deserve a tip. read more

I have been a regular client of Lonnie's and almost always have Sam do my nails since I get powder dipped and he does a good job. However I had an incident today where I was trying to show him (Sam) something on one nail that I wanted fixed and he kept explaining why he couldn't do it only what he was explaining was not what I was asking about. A total communication problem. Prior to that I had asked out of curiosity why sometimes the nails get bubbles in the polish. I didn't want him to fix them I was just curious why it happens. He told me I'm finding fault with all 10 nails and "not all 10 nails can be perfect" and he's "not doing this" so I can have someone else do my nails next time. I told him "did you just say that you are refusing to do my nails next time"? Yup pretty much. Then he pointed to the pedicure chairs and told me to go over there and someone will do my pedicure before turning his back on me. I think he was supposed to do them. I've been going to Lonnie's for about 10 years. Last month I had an appointment at 6pm, showed up at 5:55 & the place was packed! I sat there until 6:30 when a group of 6 walked in and were seated before me. At 6:40 I walked out & never going back. I've dealt with the waiting and overbooking for years because there are 2 very sweet and professional technicians that I adore! However, after being a VERY loyal customer (all of my friends dropped Lonnie years ago) for so long, I made the mistake of thinking that I actually mattered. It is sad I have to give this review based on only a person work. I went to Lonnie to get rid of a dip and a clear coat, my intent was to try their service a start doing my nails there. A male employee took the dip coat I had by destroying my nails and when I complained he told me that my nails were all broken to start. Never have that problem in over a year that I started doing the dip. I will never come back there!!! read more

Terrible nails! For a long time I just dealt with their nails because the shop is crazy convenient. The nails were too thick, looked terrible, and popped off. They rush even when the shop's empty. I now drive 20 miles to a much better shop that takes their time and delivers a much better product. read more

The owner is self- impressed and unprofessional. She has no sense of class or how to run a business. I went to get my nails done, and she is very impressed with herself talks very loud and I overheard her tell a mature customer if she is filing her nails too hard, go somewhere else! Now-a-days it isn't difficult to make money in the nail industry and still give horrible rude service. If you want to be treated as if you doing HER A FAVOR, come to Lonnie's nail spa. Some of her employees are kind and gentle, but Lonnie is very impressed with her income, and she openly lets everyone know. I have finally found a nail spa open on Sundays! I love this. They are all really nice and do they do a great job. I even bring my 5 y/o son, and they trim his nails for him. It's clean and always seems busy, so they must be doing something right. I only gave 4 stars because I notice sometimes they rush you out the door when it's closing time, or 30 minutes before. I also feel slightly rushed when picking my color. But I think they is how every place is! I will go back, the pedicures are amazing. They have really great chairs with the massaging feature. My wife went there to get her nails done in a pinch yesterday and well today one of them fell off the funny part is my cousin owns royal spa in pleasant hill Illinois and she charges $20 more but the nails didn't start falling off till 3 weeks later so I would much rather pay $50 instead of $32 and drive 1 and a half hours to go get her nails done bc now we gotta go get them re done before we go to Georgia read more

Well, with the pandemic still in effect I was surprised to get into a salon. Now the color I picked out came out normal and the lady was nice, but I really think I got overcharged for what services I receive. I didn't even get a full set just a regular mani+pedi w gel polish with eye brow wax and it was $3 dollars shy of 80 bucks! I understand times are tough but I really think that's still high. read more

I went in for a pedicure, and I wanted extra service so I went ahead and got what they called a Nu-Pedicure.. For the price I paid, it was well worth it.. I had no problems during the duration of my visit, everything was fine. I go to the dryer to wait and have my Polish dry when she came over and asked if I could pay now.. I proceeded to give her my debit card. She came back with the receipt and a pen to fill it out. She then stood over me, watching me as I fill out how much I was going to tip her. I then calculated what a 15% tip would be.. I wrote everything down, and signed. She took the recipt and gave it to "Lonnie". Lonnie then interrupted my phone call I was on to ask if the amount I put on the tip portion of the receipt was correct. I then said, "Yes, that is 15%...." she replied back very rudely, " Yea.... Hmm, okay"... Very rude, and unappreciated I would say! Anyway, after that, I was still drying my toes. The woman came back over and put some type of oil on my toes, making my feet very greasy. I get pedicures almost every week when I can, and that is not what they do after you are completely done and drying your nails. I was confused and irritated. I asked her to get me something to wipe it off, she then try to grab my socks and wipe my feet off..WHAT!? I don't understand. Needless to say, that experience really made an impact and I will defintely not be going back to "Lonnies Nail Spa"! read more
