Other areas of the SAME hospital are providing masks. Take that for what it's worth - if they aren't prepared to keep their patients safe from Covid-19, what else are they not thinking about? On top of this, the office staff sucks at their job. They've scheduled sonos for my wife and daughter without scheduling the subsequent visit with the doc, so we've had to go back for additional appointments. This was a clerical/administrative error according to the office manager - the woman who booked the appointment should have booked both appointments at the time back-to-back. This happened TWICE to us. The second time I had to remind them to book the doctor visit with the sonogram. On top of that - they did not tell us to make sure my daughter had a full bladder prior to the sono. Just lazy and lacking in attention to detail. To make matters worse, they aren't nice to you, act like they have better things to do and hate their job. All that said, my child and wife's doctor is very good, thorough, and great bedside manner.

Then when I got to see Dr. Walter Humann, who only took about 3 minutes time with me and when he asked me a question, I was cut off before finishing my sentence. He was late getting in to see me because I heard him with the patience next door talking for 15 minutes about the FIFA soccer games, I get it, I enjoyed the conversation too even though I was just eavesdropping through the paper thin walls and I figured he would be in a better mood than his front desk staff person was since the convo with his patient was going so well. He was quick, seemed like he didn't care, and I felt just like a number and from the looks of my bill, I just paid his car payment (or maybe half a car payment, depending on his car). The audiologist Dr. Kelly Briley doesn't smile like she does in her pics, I felt like she was also wishing I wasn't there. She was cold, distant, even though I really liked her office, it was warm and inviting and I told her this, no response. After I paid my bill, made a follow up appointment and I had to deal with the same front desk person that checked me in and as she was checking me out, I asked her if she had the correct pharmacy on file for the script that Dr. Humann ordered and she said she did, but how could she since I didn't put it on my paperwork so I asked her to read it out to me to confirm and of course, it was wrong, so I gave her the right address and she got mad, and said "that is what I said" and her voice sounded so angry and evil that I just grabbed my bag and got out of there. Then, I get a call from my pharmacy, the script was called in incorrectly and they were letting me know they contacted the Dr. Humann's office to get it fixed. That was good and I waited, and waited, two days later, my pharmacy told me to call them since they are not getting a response, so I called, left a voice mail and it has been 3 weeks, no response to the pharmacy or myself. I decided to just ask my PCP to fill the script since I would not ever be going back to this office again. Please find a better ENT office, if you can, because this office, does not care about the patient, only the very expensive fees they charge for less than 15 minutes of service.

I liked the fact that the building has huge letters on it "Eye Institute of Dallas" because frankly if you need eye surgery you can't possibly see the addresses on the buildings. So that was a good start and much appreciated. The office was clean and modern. They practiced. social distancing in the availability of chairs, which I liked tremendously. I arrived before my appointment time but I did not have to wait too long to get started. All of the people with whom I interacted were friendly, professional, and very competent. I went through a battery of exams to assess my situation. It was all very thorough. When I was able to see the doctor I did not feel as if he was trying to upsell me or rush me into something I did not need. I told him my situation and my end goals, and we decided on a course of action that seemed appropriate. My surgery is upcoming as this review is written but I feel confident that I have made the right decision.

Told me I would have be rescheduled like a new patient with an appointment weeks away. Would not allow me to speak with a supervisor or medical staff. The fine patient centered reputation Dr. Bebee built has vanished. I found an alaterntive and will be happy not to go back to Cornea Associates.
