Since they have…read moreswitched over the CMA -- ca. 2022 -- they are the most incompetent, unsympathetic, rude and even illiterate set of "medical" practitioners that I have ever encountered (I use scare quotes because I don't really know that what they do should qualify as medicine, so much as abuse). They are incapable of refilling medications on time, often schedule, cancel or change appointments without informing me, and my medical plan is occasionally changed -- seemingly on a whim -- by practitioners with whom I have never spoken., and who know nothing of my history or chart. The attitude towards health, in general, is putative: you are at fault for requiring a refill on time of a daily medication that they have prescribed (and they often even argue with you about the pharmacy where you wish to pick it up, suggesting less convenient alternatives), you are a nuisance if you require an appointment, and you will generally be "scolded"in a demeaning and dehumanizing way if you are not aware of policy changes of which they never informed you (or anyone else). Its really a shame, as the doctors were superb and erll-loved folks around town for years. But they have almost all retired or gone somewhere else. Now it is a travesty of ignorance mixed with anger and an utterly unfounded, unearned, and abused sense of authority. Horrible. I have never written a Yelp review before, but this place has been bad enough to warrant one.

In another instance I noticed A1C test that was outrageously high. Got no comment from the doctor and no follow up A1 C test. Their online patient portal can't be relied upon to transfer any of your messages to where they are needed. The whole Software effort is a joke, a sham so that they can say they have a patient portal, how miserable. From the reviews I've seen around for this company, it doesn't look like there's anybody minding the store. I guess that all of the doctors are operating independently and nobody is being careful that the organization has a good reputation. This one doesn't. I decided that if I have to tell my doctor what to do, I need another doctor. I did it.

We then got a bill because the P.A. wasn't taking our insurance "that day," which he WAS NOT informed of. My insurance rep called and because the P.A. should have a supervising doctor who did take our insurance (I've NEVER had this problem with our insurance) they said they'd cease billing...but took the money out of my son's account (they had the card from the co-pay) the next day. 3 times I've been told by billing that a manager would call me back; no call back. This is so wrong, if I can find the time will pursue with elected officials.

But I had to rely on family for the upkeep and repairs of my home and I was having problems with falls so my family encouraged me to move into Juniper Manor. I am vary happy I listened to them. My apartment is very quiet unlike other apartments I lived in over the years (very important to me)! The other residents are very friendly but always respect my privacy. The maintenance crew is great and respond promptly to any requests for upkeep & repairs. The office Manager, Marsha, is great answering any questions or concerns I have. Overall I would encourage anyone in a similar situation to consider a move into Juniper Manor! Definitely deserves a Five Star Rating! My dog and I love it here! Allan & Smokey
