Texas Hill Country Wine Passport: #4 Tasting: Complimentary…read morefor the entire line, about 6 wines. Saltine crackers provided, dump (you might need it), no indoor plumbing=no water. Tasting Staff: friendly and informal, but a bit rushed, even though we were the only ones there. Definitely had a memorized schpiel for each wine. Facilities: Nice bar, located in town off the main drag. Wine Dogs: none We interrupted the tasting woman's morning plant watering and I think she was a little miffed about it. But, after a short wait we began our tasting. The wines were not great, but some were OK and the prices were low. We tasted about 6 wines and purchased the Orange Chardonnay. The cork was a little smashed but when we asked for another bottle the woman was very adamant about there being nothing wrong with it. The raisin wine was interesting, but the jalapeno wine takes the cake for the most interesting wine I've ever tried. Its not something for sipping, because its super-hot, but I suppose you could cook with it. Sip lightly! They were very proud of it, but I don't know if they should be.

This was our third and last winery of the day. We walked in from the back, from Highs Cafe, so I…read morehave no idea what the building looks like from the front. It's cozy from the back. And there was a whole bunch of jalapeno plants growing lined up on the walkway, more about them later. There was no one behind the tasting counter when we walked in, but she came up from a back room quickly after we shut the door. She wasn't the most friendly, especially considering the two wineries we visited earlier. We tasted all that they had, they were sold out of the orange chard. They had a crisp white that was good, but most of the rest were too sweet for me. I dumped quite a few out. Now for the jalapenos, the jalapeno wine was crazy! So very hot, one little sip and your mouth is burning. She added a little clamato and voila! A perfect spicy bloody mary! It was excellent! I liked it so much we bought three bottles. What it could do to my homemade pasta sauce...

This is one of our favorite Saturdays!…read more Shop in Comfort, Tx shops in the morning, and then head to this gem of a vineyard in the afternoon! GREAT wine and good food and nice people. Beautiful setting and music acts that are great. I actually feel like I am telling too many people about this... like I am sharing this awesome secret- but it's too good not to share!

Great Vineyard, Frustrating Food Experience…read more This was our first visit to Singing Waters Vineyard, and the property itself is absolutely darling. The setting is beautiful, the staff at the vineyard were friendly and welcoming, and the wine was tasty. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and time with friends. However, the food truck experience was a big letdown and honestly the main reason we're hesitant to return. I paid $12 for a hot dog combo (pictured)--just a single hot dog and a small bag of chips. That price felt excessive for what we received. The kids' burger was $8 and was tiny...about the size of a quarter dollar with melted cheese and chips. The value just wasn't there. What made things worse was the service. Our friends ordered the exact same food right before us and received theirs much earlier. We waited about 40 minutes longer for the same order. It was frustrating, and it did make us wonder if my earlier comment about the hot dog price being extreme played a role. The kids were all still hungry. The vineyard itself is lovely and worth visiting, but I strongly recommend reconsidering the food truck setup...either pricing, portions, or vendor choice. The food experience didn't match the quality of the venue, and it definitely affected our overall impression.

Great place to enjoy wine. We did go early, so it was quiet, but they said it gets a little louder…read moreas the day goes on. They have trivia and other activities. The place is a good size with inside and outside seating. They have nice alcove booths that fit a good amount of people. We made reservations for first Sunday brunch. Currently they only offer brunch the first Sunday of the month. They have an extensive wine menu and do have wine based cocktails and mimosas. On Sundays they have happy hour all day. I had she zucchini fries. The serving was big enough to share. It came with a side of marinara. For my meal, I had the avocado toast with poached eggs. The avocado has just the right amount of lime. It came with a hash brown patty. The hashbrown patty was just ok. For dessert, we shared the pancakes. They were sooooo good. Definitely full of butter, but not complaints from us. I had the pink label Rose. It was good and a great price as it was on their special menu of opened bottles. Parking is available on site, but shared with the other businesses
