Observing instructor/student interactions, the instructors aren't really teaching and students aren't really learning best practices and are just there to acquire 'the beauty hours', while paying tons of $$$ for the tuition. I do not recommend this place. There are much better places out there for both students and clients.

Body MedSpa 3021 Butterfield Rd # 204, Oak Brook, IL 60523…read moreMedical Spa I found Anna through a friend after a plastic surgeon froze one side of my forehead but not the other. Anna used a diagram of a face and explained to me her work, how she would inject and prevent that from happening again and what potentially went wrong when the surgeon injected me. Taking the time to make sure I understood is what built a trust that has me following Anna anywhere she goes. From Botox to Juvederm, Anna takes her time and makes sure it is perfect. I tell her what's bothering me about my face, and I trust her completely to do exactly as needed, nothing more or less. My forehead lines disappear but I can still make expressions when Anna does my Botox or Dysport (I like either). She reminds me to stay natural when I ask for drastically bigger lips. When she is almost done with the syringe I put in my lips, she has me check in a mirror to see if I think the results look even and if want Juvederm added to any area in particular. I have never tried to get a deal on Groupon or been lured by a title of doctor since I met her. I trust her completely and exclusively with my face. When Anna started at this spa, I made the 45 minute drive to see her and get the works. They had a great deal on Botox that day. I also had a syringe and a half of Juvederm to fill lines and boost my lips. The receptionist wanted to make sure I got points for all of my injections and helped me sign up for Aspire rewards. I was so worried about how busy she was and didn't want to be a bother. She assured me that the points for all the money I was spending was important and patiently assisted me in setting up an account before she checked me out and charged me. It resulted in a great rebate for my next visit!

I've seen Lauren for quite a while now for everything from dermaplaning and Daxxify to BBL, and…read moremost recently SkinPen microneedling. I just started a series of three treatments with the AnteAGE add-on, and I can honestly say it's been a game changer--not only for recovery, but for my results. Here's the thing about microneedling...anyone can perform the treatment, but not everyone has the education and experience to know what depth to use, where to treat, and how to customize the treatment to your skin to get the best results. That's what makes all the difference. I'm not the type of patient who says, "Just do whatever you think," but with Lauren, I honestly do. She has taken the time to get to know me, my skin, and how it responds to different treatments. Because of that, I completely trust the protocol she recommends, knowing it's based on my goals- If you're considering microneedling, don't just look for someone who owns a SkinPen. Find someone who truly understands how to use it. Lauren's knowledge, attention to detail, and genuine care are exactly why she'll have me as a patient for a very long time. If you've been thinking about starting a microneedling series...do it. Healthy, beautiful skin starts with a strong foundation, and this is one of the best investments I've made in mine.

Dr. Geldner himself was kind and polite but I struggled with his patient care coordinator, Dorothy…read more While she was kind, there were a few things that I noticed that made me feel less secure as a patient: - she told me Dr. Geldner could show me a rendering of what my results might look like. He confirmed that he cannot do this. - she promised a response within 2 weeks, otherwise I should call her. I did not get a response until I called 2.5 weeks later and the response was then handled via email. - she couldn't answer questions regarding the pre-auth that their office requires (my insurance does not require a pre-authorization) and needed to consult the billing office. This is fine except that it took multiple attempts over phone and email for me to get a response back. In the end, I didn't have my procedure done with this office due to their inability to work with my insurance (BCBS PPO). However, I'll admit that my up front experience made me nervous enough that I was already looking at other options. Bummer--Geldner seems good at what he does!

For the most part it does not get any more gentle than this. I also appreciate the 30 min numbing process to ensure keeping any discomfort to an absolute minimum. During the apt. I have never felt rushed by her and I appreciate how she sits you up a few times and hands you a mirror to ensure things are exactly to your liking. Rhonda is also extremely Thorough on educating you on care instructions before you go home. Besides being a master at her craft, Rhonda is just a great person who is super down to earth and easy to get along with. I truly enjoy my time with her and always leave with a laugh. As far as pricing.. Today I got 40 units of Botox and half a syringe of filler and I paid right under $1000. If you're looking for someone less expensive just remember- You get what you pay for. Anyways, 100% recommend giving her or any one of her injectors a shot. You won't be sorry!

But that's not even the thing I'm most disappointed about. I still had a few sessions left but I got pregnant and had to pause sessions. I breastfed for 1 year after the baby and when I called to make an appointment to start treatments back up they told me my sessions had been forfeited because they will only hold them for 6 months of nursing. I'm not sure how holding my sessions was going to hurt them as I actually planned on doing additional treatments and different body parts but apparently it was a big deal to let me finish my package. Not to mention the front staff was horribly rude every time I was there. I have since gone to a different facility and have gotten my upper lip, armpits and bikini line done. I will be doing my arms next. Don't waste your time or money with them. And looking at the other reviews it seems that I'm not the only one who has had a bad experience. Updated to include screen shots of the emails. I went into the office to have my session done and they asked if I was pregnant, I said it was possible but I wasn't sure. They rudely told me I should go take a test and they couldn't perform my treatment. Ok. So I actually went and took a test that day. It said yes. I was 3 weeks at that moment. So delivered at 40 weeks and nursed for a year. This was my email asking about how many sessions were remaining and their response.
