My first visit to Geldner Center was in 2021 with Lynn for Botox. She was awesome! She was very professional, took time to explain the procedure, what to expect, and after care. She did a great job. (at that time we talked about my loose jowls and she recommended Ultherapy for a "lift").
Unfortunately when I returned for upkeep on Botox Lynn was no longer with Geldner. Allie injected the Botox. Quickly. She never consulted with me, did not mark where she was injecting, she just did it. I did notify the manager and she said that next time she would schedule me with someone else.
The next time i came in for Botox Beth did take her time and marked what she was doing before she did it.
In between Botox visits I went ahead with the Ultherapy which was supposed to lift/tighten my skin. I waited several months but saw no improvement. Upon returning for an after procedure check-in the aesthetician agreed that it did not provide any lift. She suggested a filler, Juvederm.
So last November 2022 the Center had a special running for Juvederm filler: buy 2 get 1 free, which Beth said would be plenty to fill in my face and lift my jowls. I finally decided to move forward with it. I had the procedure in February. Beth said there may be some bruising, and there was, more than i expected. I didn't mind as long as the results were good. It has been three weeks and I see no/very minimal difference in my face. I went for my follow-up check up. Beth said she saw some improvement. (What else was she going to say?) And then proceeded to tell me that I needed something else around my mouth and tried to sell me another filler, which she said would definitely make a difference. That was the same thing she said about Juvederm! I have a few thousand dollars invested already (between Ultherapy and Juvederm) and sadly for me no positive changes. I am not willing to try a third product at an additional expense; at least not at this place.
As a side note: I had Botox last November and the office had no record of it. Additionally, they did not get my consent to take before/after pictures, took them nonetheless, but did not share them with me. I would say their recordkeeping is a bit too lax, especially for a doctor's office. read more
