This is the first acupuncturist that I have tried who is actually helping me with my issues. Each time I leave, I feel better, and I am noticing after 2 months of weekly treatments that my energy has increased, my lower back pain is gone, my upper back, shoulder, and neck is improving tremendously, I have more range of motion, my digestion issues are clearing up, forgot about arthritis in my right hand, my skin has a new found glow, my eyes are brighter, and my hair is shinier. My body feels more balanced, so I am now back to exercising and eating appropriate portions, and I'm finding it easier to stay away from junk food which I no longer crave. Understand that my issues have been going on for years and I have tried many different modalities including naturopaths, chiropractors, other acupuncturists, and "specialists," but I feel I have finally found my "cure." Mr. Lee takes the time to really listen to my issues and is very good about giving helpful advice and sharing his knowledge. I've been to many therapists who claim they are intuitive healers. Mr. Lee has never mentioned anything about being an intuitive healer, but during my treatments he seems to know exactly what treatment my body requires. It may be that he takes the time to ask questions until he is satisfied that he has the information he needs to give the appropriate treatment. He uses a combination of needles, Chinese manipulative therapy called Tui Na and herbs that I have to cook and drink according to his instructions. He is also very good about administering the needles effectively, yet with very little discomfort or pain. His office is small and decent, nothing fancy. He is good about putting new paper on the table. The 2 massage rooms are peaceful and more spa like. The office is easy to get to on El Camino in Mountain View, but the most important aspect of going to Mr. Lee is that he is a true healer and treats you like you are his only patient, so I feel my needs are being thoroughly considered and addressed. It never feels like he is rushing through my appointment to treat other patients. I should add that at first I was skeptical about his suggestion of requiring 2-3 months of treatment because my insurance doesn't cover acupuncture. However, I'm seeing results for the first time in years, so his approach makes sense to me. He isn't aggressive or pushy, and he is very accommodating. In my case, there were many issues to tackle, so it was important for me to be patient and to not expect instant results. It takes time for the body to heal and thanks to Mr. Lee, my body is healing nicely! read more
