I have used Long Branch Dry Cleaning for my personal items in the past without issue. However, my recent experience regarding a vintage leather fringe coat I intended to sell for my business was extremely disappointing. Given my experience over the past few years including significant delays in the return of my daughter's wedding dress after preservation, as well as the damage to this vintage coat I would advise others to use extreme caution when considering this company. When I brought in the coat, I clearly informed the attendant that it was vintage leather. I was confident in this, but the attendant argued that it was faux leather after briefly inspecting it. I explained that, given the age of the coat, I did not believe faux leather would have been used at that time. Despite this, she insisted it was not leather and assured me it could be processed through standard dry cleaning. Based on her confidence, I trusted her judgment, although I was asked to sign a waiver prior to service. A week later, I was contacted and informed that the coat had been damaged during the dry cleaning process. When I returned to discuss the situation, the attendant acknowledged that the coat was, in fact, leather and admitted that sending it to a leather specialist would have prevented the damage. Despite this, I was told they had attempted repairs through their seamstress and that I would be responsible for the cost. I requested to speak with the owner, Forrest Ward, and was told he would contact me. After waiting over a week and leaving follow-up messages, I did not receive a response. Instead, I was later contacted by a manager who informed me the coat could not be repaired. During that conversation, responsibility was shifted onto me, citing the condition of the coat rather than acknowledging the improper cleaning method. Overall, I found the handling of this situation to be unprofessional and lacking accountability. As a long-term customer, I expected better communication, ownership of the mistake, and a reasonable resolution. As of 03/07/26 I still have not had my coat returned to me. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this dry cleaning company. read more

The customer service here is unmatched! My mom had dropped off my comforter to be cleaned and they called me within 48 hours to let me know it was ready for pick up! It smelt great and was so clean. We've been loyal customers of Long Branch for 12 years, but recently they've had some major quality control issues. They lost clothing items for us and claim that they have no record of it. We've called multiple times, were promised multiple calls from the owner that never materialized, and they said nothing could be done since there's no record of these items being turned in (even though we have Ring footage of them picking up the bag that day). They also lost clothing items a few months back that we had to be extremely vigilant in following up on and tracking down. Needless to say, we are looking for a new dry cleaner. I would beware of turning in any expensive items or anything you can't replace with Long Branch. read more

Whenever I went to pick up my dry cleaning they told me to "come back later" cause the delivery wasn't there yet. I went back an hour later and still wasn't ready till half hour after that. I don't have the time to keep coming back. So other than that the dry cleaning was good and personnel were nice since it wasn't their fault the dry cleaned clothes hadn't arrived. I will try them again and hopefully it would be fine. read more

I used this dry cleaners for the first time and was very confused because they do not give you any proof of what or how many items you dropped off. It was so weird. I walked out empty handed. I had no record of what I dropped off or how items or much it would cost. What an odd transaction! I was told that they evaluate your items and then determine the price and tag them after you leave. Odd. Either way I came back 2 days later and my items were dry cleaned and looked great! Very high quality service. I don't dry clean that often, and when I do, I rarely remember what I dropped off. I have always been extremely pleased with the quality of work and level of service provided at Benchmark but was absolutely blown away recently thanks to Christy. I was a bridesmaid and was playing with fire by waiting until 1 week before the wedding to get my dress hemmed. The wedding was on a Sunday and I was told my dress would be available Saturday. However, I didn't realize that Benchmark closes at 12 on Saturdays. I was in Fayetteville and got a call from Christy at Benchmark at 12:30 double checking if I needed the dress for Sunday since the store was now closed. I'm writing this and don't know if I'm more upset at myself or frustrated at the situation. I will update this once it's all over. I dropped off a suit and shirt to dry clean on Thursday. They mentioned it would be done on Saturday morning and I completely forgot. I swung by to see if I could be lucky enough to catch someone by 12:11pm and no one was there (saturday hours close at 12:00 understandable, I was hopeful.) but where my frustration lies is I feel like I should have gotten a call saying the dry cleaning was done or a reminder to pickup before they closed. The only reason it is not 5 stars is because we were told we would get a call when it was done and after a week we had to call to see if it was done. I don't often dry clean my wardrobe but I went and had my king size comforter and duvet laundered. I was impressed at the turn around time. I was quoted a week for my items but was called in 2 days when they were ready. She remembered me when I pulled up and immediately pulled my items for me. Terrible service and immature owners, do not recommend I got a dress dry cleaned and noticed that the leather lining had been damaged. I went back to the dry cleaners to see if I could get compensation for this damage, but the owner wasn't there. I left my number so that they could contact me, and we could resolve the issue. I never received a call back which resulted in me going back to the dry cleaners at least 4 or 5 times. I left about 3 different numbers and even tried calling them, but they did not bother to try and resolve the issue. The only time I was able to communicate with the owner was when the employee working at the dry cleaners called her and passed the phone to me. Even then, she insisted that it wasn't their fault and that the care label had the wrong instructions. The only thing listed on the care label was to have it dry cleaned which leaves the type of treatment completely up to the dry cleaner's discretion. Overall, this was a tedious and frustrating experience. While the employees there were very apologetic and courteous, the owners seem to have a knack for unresolved complaints. read more

So my sister needed me to drop off her comforter at the dry cleaning to get it wash and clean. I'm from California not knowing where to go, that calls for yelp. I'm a big on yelp and in Cali it's all about yelp, lol! Anyways so I found this dry cleaning service on yelp that says they were 5.5 miles away and also only the closest one to my sister house, drove there and definitely was not expecting a drive through dry cleaning service, which I love so much!As soon as I drove up to the drive through drive way, this very nice lady named Kristy came out to help me. There was like no wait at all, which was very nice. I mention to her that I was from CA and we definitely do not have drive through service like this at all (unless you're going to out to eat at a fast food joint) lol! Arkansas people is definitely spoiled! Anyways I love love love the drive through services that they offer (wish CA offer that) and the customer service was on point! Told my sister who lives here about my wonderful experience with Kristy and she will be a returning customer for me. Well, we used Benchmark for a while, I suspected some of our garments were being shrunk. I had my husband try his pants on before we sent them- and when they came back they were WAY too short and WAY too tight.
