It…read moreonly took them about 5 or 6 hours, and they did a wonderful job on the roof and of cleaning up the debris. Shortly after the roofers left, Daniel came back with another guy, and they went through the entire area again with the machine that picks any nails, or metal pieces, and they also made sure that all of the shingle debris had been removed. Then Daniel told us they would be coming back to paint the part just beneath the roof eaves so that it would match the rest of the house! When they came to do it, it only took about 30-45 minutes, and everything looked beautiful and they left us the leftover paint so we could do our own touch ups elsewhere if we ever needed to. It was almost an entire gallon of very good paint that matched perfectly! And I would like to add that Daniel offered to help us with our insurance company, and he said "I'm good at it. I know how they can give you the runaround and delay things." So of course, we said sure! And he was right. He IS very good at it. Everything moved along quickly after that! His work is to the highest standards, as he coached his helper in many parts of the jobs. Then he fixed an old shower valve, restoring it to ease of use and correct hot/cold locations. And lastly, he cleaned out the water heater, where the drain was clogged with sediment. Also installed a pressure relief bladder. When he started to replace the completely used-up sacrificial anode rod, he did not have the unusually long non-standard part required. We engaged Ariel to install a new drop-in sink, and to our dismay it also had clips for an under mount installation that prevented the sink from fitting properly. Any other handyman would have simply said "Sorry, this doesn't fit", and we'd have been living without a sink for at least a few days if not longer. Ariel sanded down the protrusions and it now fits perfectly. He has a unique ability to not only diagnose problems but to quickly identify a viable solution. We will never use another handyman for our many household projects.
