I go up to pay talking to this guy and asking if he can order them and he tells me they don't have enough room to get all the different flavors. You lost my business. I told him I was going to go to another store, he was fine with that. To the horrible sales guy There was nobody else in the store so it's not like you had other things going on. The first time I stopped in, I was in the mood to try something new (usually an IPA guy) and looked helpless in their beer selection for 10-15 minutes and no one said hi or checked in. Ended up paying nearly $15 for a mediocre 4-pack. Stopped in today because I was at the King Soopers next door and instead of any knowledgable sales people, I stood by Googling beers as the two employees walked by. When I finally checked out the cashier remained on his phone for most of the transaction. Whoever says they have fair prices has not been to other liquor stores that are in the same DU/South Denver area. Morgans (Evans & Downing), Little's (Harvard & Downing), and Total Wine (Colorado & Evans) have much better prices. Morgan's and Little's actually happen to have knowledgable sales people who notice when you've been standing there Googling beer out of the cooler for five minutes or more. Will not be back if I can help it.

My sister ordered a glass of red wine and the barrata, which was very good. We then headed to Angelo's in the bar area for oysters, which were also good. For the two of us, 4 drinks, 2 apps, cheese bread, and 8 oysters we spent a little over $100 total... not bad! Great ambiance and good service as well. I'd recommend Carboy and Angelo's for a light, casual, meal for two.
