What a relief to go in a place that sells seafood, but you don't end up smelling like seafood! Wheew! Most LJS's reek of old seafood grease. They just scream dingy and dirty, but really wanting some seafood without paying an arm and leg, I decided to stop here--especially since the LJS/Taco Bell combo had received 5 stars. Parking is incredibly spacious along with a drive thru, but remember--this is an express location. Some of the items you may see at other stand alone stores may not be available. However, from my observation, the menu was just as diverse as any other LJS I've been to. The only concern I had was if they offered the same specials as the standalone LJSs. I saw no window advertisement on the store, so I waited patiently to ask the crew member about a televised special. I was delighted to know that they did. I ordered my food and took in the scenery of the restaurant which is quite inviting. If I hadn't had school work to complete that night, I would have dined in. Even the restroom stalls are clean, spacious, and well stocked. One of my favorite areas of the restaurant is the condiments bar where they allow you to get as much ketchup, malt vinegar, cocktail sauce, etc you desire. Now, I'm not saying take two fist fulls and make these people have to fill their bins every 10 minutes, but when you dine in, you shouldn't have to get up and wait for items such as ketchup and forks. I think most of us are quite capable of doing so without stealing a restaurant blind for extra forks and spoons. Only drawback is the location. Getting out of this place headed towards the freeway will involve some creative driving. Quite busy little section with a bunch of businesses smashed into a block or two in Wallisville causes traffic in the area most of the time. In any case, if you find yourself in the area, this LJS should appease your dining needs. read more

Best seafood I have ever had. Straight off the gulf and they are pure hard workers. Some of the best grilled salmon I have ever had.

Nothing but a bunch of incompetent employees! Waited over an hour in drive through when i got to window was charged , was never given a receipt and was told to back up behind a pole and that they were gona flag me when its ready. I don't understand why. Must make those minimum wage idiots feel like they got authority or something . Got my order and got home to find my order incomplete, ordered a 12 pc fish. Was sent home with no fish at all. Had to drive back and ask for the feat of my order. Totally unnecessary for the amount of time it took them to send out my order. This happened on 4-2-23 at aprox 4:50 pm. Hope management does something about this. Definitely would not recommend coming here. read more

I am crazy after all, I tried Long John Silvers Again but different location. I ordered two L14 fish, shrimp and chicken. Get home NOT 1 shrimp!. I was charged. 69 for the crunchy chips! What is this and the fish and chicken tasted as though it was cooked mix with Taco Bell. And of course you can't call because they have the phone off the hook. To go online I will be charged Again. Check your orders folks make sure you receive what you pay for! Recent drive thru visit I ordered a 2pc fish with shrimp and did an add a fish to the order. When I received the bag I looked inside an saw two boxes (one big and one small) so at first glance it looked right. Something told me to open the small box to make sure it was fish. Nope it was shrimp! So I checked the big box and it only had two fish! Hey where is my other fish? Opps! Sorry! Can you pull forward and we will bring it out to you? I went though the drive and ordered a taco bel grandie and as I was eating I found hair in my food, I though it was cheese but as I was trying to see what it was I found a long hair in my mouth. It's not long John silver but Taco Bell. Will never go back there again. NASTY read more

I found myself on this side of town and didn't know what to eat so we stopped in here. It is a brand new combo location with a taco bell. Very strange combination but it worked out well because I was able to get chicken strips and fish fillets with hushpuppies and a chalupa all in once place. read more

I was craving the British dish: fish and chips so I figured the closest thing I can get to that would be at LJS. I was suspect of it being joined with a Taco Bell, but surprisingly the food was good. I didn't think I'd rate a drive-thru place highly, but LJS warrants 4 stars. I got the 2 Fish combo, with fries, coleslaw, and hushpuppies. To be fair, I haven't had fish and chips outside of this, so my baseline is not reliable. I've never had hush puppies but these were good. The fries were a bit over cooked. However, the fish was tender and crispy. There was no foul taste. The coleslaw seems a bit redundant, as the fish, fries, and hush puppies are more than enough to stuff you. I do wish they provided more tartar sauce! Nonetheless, LJS is a solid option for "fish and chips" without having to drive 20 minutes to the downtown/med center area! I cannot endorse 4 stars for the Taco Bell however. read more

Horrible food and bad customer service. Had to throw food away was inedible. Order was wrong. Received chicken instead of fish and shrimp. Food was very greasy. You couldn't even bite into the chicken it was so hard and dried up. My cat wouldn't even eat it and she loves chicken. I would rate this a ZERO if I was given that option. read more

This location is pathetic! They do not honor the coupons issued by their corporate office. I called their corporate office and got a voicemail; left a message. I had 2 coupons and they are a smaller store. That is understandable. They had items that matched the coupons, the problem as told by the 2 managers is they have to have a key on the computer so they deduct the coupon. That was sad enough, adding and subtracting is not a requirement. The manager refused to take my coupon. This manager 1 then tells me the other coupon they can take. Manager 1 goes and gets Manager 2 (bad attitude and angry woman). I asked can I get 2 orders with the higher value coupon. That is when Manager 1 goes and gets Manager 2; with her nasty attitude. coupon. Manager 2 comes out and just rings up the order with the expensive coupon and tells me $6.19! I ask is that for 2 orders? Manager 2 says, no it's for 1, and smacks her lips as to say I am bothering them. Then Manager 2 says we are doing you a favor and honoring this coupon. I told her the first young lady at the register was going to do that. Manager 1 was impatient and speaking to me in a condescending tone. Manager 2 treated me as an irritation and rang up the order and told me pay this amont; as if I had interrupted her day. This place is does not honor Long John Silver's coupons and the corporate office does not have respect for customers to even answer the phone. DO NOT GO TO THIS LONG JOHN SILVER'S!!! I often have issues at this location, well I did until last visit I will not be back. One my last visit, I went through the drive thru, the employee was very rude I thought well this is the big city, maybe she does not know Texas is the friendly state, After being informed they are not a full Long John Silvers and they only have a few menu items, I selected a meal that included shrimp, fish and chicken with french fries and cole slaw, I did not receive any shrimp. I also purchased a second meal for a friend, Both of our meals were very greasy and cold. I tried to contact the location, to see if they would give me the missing items when I came back through. As usual the phone just rings and rings, and finally goes to a fax tone. I tried to call many times that night, After not being able to reach location, I called and left a voice mail on the corporate number, after 2 more days someone reached out to me and said someone would be contacting me about this incident. Well it has been 3 weeks and still no response. I work hard for my money and if I purchase something I expect to receive what was advertised. And if I purchase food I expect it to be warm and edible. After this visit, I can only assume that they do not care about their customers, so from now on, I will spend my money elsewhere. read more
