Which they list as 1/2 lb probably because it looks better that way. But the flavor of the buffalo was pretty dang good. My husband got the chili cheese coney which came with fries. It was a standard size hotdog and homemade chili. He really enjoyed it. About $10 for that one. Which is only $1 more than 6 wings. That's the only for my star deduction. Other than that our waitress was great. She was new and kind of slow but that's totally fine. Everyone starts from somewhere! There are also pool tables in the front of the restaurant which we didn't get to play on but might come back for it while we are in town!

Our server was under the age of 18 and didn't know the beers and couldn't deliver them. No biggie. We settled on two country fried steaks and I was promised they were hand breaded. Whooee! I swear the best cf steak I've had my whole trip! Top notch! Kiddo had just hamburger steak with cheese and it seemed over done. All served with salad & veggie (corn) and potato. Kids fries were hand cut & fried. Nice. Could've used a second longer fry tho. Good dinner in sports bar atmosphere in DC!

It reminded me of home when we took our livestock to the sale barns in KC. I had the Liver and onions with tots. My coworkers got the chicken fried steak. I absolutely loved the Liver and onions!! Perfectly cooked topped with grilled onions and jalapeños. And the tots!! Crispy and delicious. I didn't hear any complaints coming from my coworkers either. If you're looking for great cafe food and not afraid to park with the ranchers or partake in watching a livestock sale, ya got hit up the Stockyard Cafe... especially on Wednesdays when they have the sale!

And to my excitement, they do! I walked in about 15 minutes after they opened. There was a kind older gentleman working the front and preparing the food. The noodles were a tad on the bland side but nothing drastic. I would still order them again. I attached an up to date menu since there doesn't seem to be one posted on here!
