Lots of groceries for a small town and located conveniently on Main Street and Center. There is a great soda fountain and ice cream treats counter in the back, much like Bucklin has had for most of its hundred+ years of existence. The interior has maintained much of its original structure. In 1943 the restaurant opened for lunch and dinner and still maintaining its 50s vibe. I felt like I transported back to the 50s. The owner was serving the customers working behind the counter and out on the dining room floor. The service was exceptionally great. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I ate a grilled cheese sandwich with pickles and chips. I took potato soup to go for dinner later. The food was amazing. It tasted like a home-cooked meal.
