Can't quite understand why a company advertises in a local paper and then doesn't want to provide their service. I called this guy Dave 4 or 5 times to get firewood delivered. He was always in a "meeting" and promised to call back. He never did. When I finally got in touch with him and asked him if he really wanted to sell me firewood, he told me to go someplace else to get it. Don't waste your time! read more

They got our $800 deposit first, and then they asked for more money to cut some trees they didn't add before. Therefore we told them we cannot afford it. They told us they will give us our deposit back and they always say that they will mail the check out but they never did. Now when we call the company and owner, they never answer. read more

Runaway from this guy. He came over marked all the trees with paint and said he would cut them down next week. He did not show up. I called and he said he would come the following week on Thursday. He called Thursday morning and said he was on his way just a little late but said he would be there for sure. He never showed up I called he did not return my calls. This guy made me wait weeks and just never showed up no call no reason. Don't waste your time. read more

Called LI lumberjack and David showed up at my house in under 30 minutes. When I expressed concern about trucks driving on my lawn David assured me the job would be handled how I would like it done. Unlike a competitor who was giving me no option in regards to driving his heavy equipment on my lawn leaving deep grooves, which I had to fix from a previous job he did. LI Lumberjack not only stuck to his word for the care of my property, he matched the price of the competitor without a heartbeat. Joe and his crew are a talented group of men threading the needle with large parts of the trees coming down with pinpoint accuracy . They removed 6 large oak trees and stump grinded down below grade as I asked. Cleaned up property cleaner than it was before. I am not one to leave reviews but LI lumberjack deserves this one for sure. Excellent job and will be calling them back for further tree removal. read more
