I have been a patient of Dr. Jardine for over 10 years. After most visits, I have asked myself, Why…read moredo I continue to go to this practice. The office is not run efficiently, always back up on schedule, don't return calls, etc. This wk I went to my appointment for my yearly thyroid scan. I was told by receptionist in a very rude manner that I needed a referral to be seen. I proceeded to call my insurance carrier because I have never needed a referral for specialist, but maybe something had changed. Nope, I was correct & even after my carrier confirmed I didn't need a referral & was willing to send over written validation- I was told because my card didn't say- no referrals- I would still need one. I understand completely that office matters need to be conducted they eat that serves them best, but in the end I was denied treatment for something that just wasn't valid. And what waa so infuriating is how rude and righteous the staff conducted themselves, Truthfully, they were wrong- I do not need a referral for specialist. The correct situation is- in order to be seen, my card needed to read no referrals necessary, for which my ins will not produce. On top of that- after a decade- Dr Jardine does not call me regarding situation, how it can be worked out, or to discuss my recent blood work. I am still under her Dr care, but in the end dies she & her staff really care about their patients? I will be seeing a different doctor now & if you are looking for an endocrinologist- keep searching to avoid aggravation & poor healthcare!!!!!

I came here a year ago concerned about my thyroid, the PA saw me and she was great. Sure enough…read moresomething was wrong. The next appointment was with the new PA, she barely spoke English, so that appointment wasn't helpful. Then I saw Dr. Jardine, after a year of being diagnosed, I have done extensive research on my condition and every time I asked a question she blew it off. If I tell you I'm not feeling good with the current treatment and ask questions about changing meds and you completely disregard me, than there is no reason for me to return. Patients want doctors who listen not act like they're the end all be all.

I had a great experience with Dr. Pena and the entire team at RMA throughout our IVF journey. Dr…read more Pena was attentive and very responsive from the very beginning. Anytime I had a question or concern, he would get back to me very quickly -- either by email or a phone call -- which made such a stressful process feel much more reassuring and supported. All of the nurses and staff at RMA were so friendly, kind, and welcoming throughout the experience, especially Marylou. She was so caring and compassionate every step of the way and truly made me feel comfortable during the process. Thanks to Dr. Pena and the amazing RMA team, I'm now pregnant from my very first transfer. We are beyond grateful.

Let me start by saying, there is no peace of mind with this place…read more I also want to add that my husband and I are expecting our first child in two weeks :) - but not with any help from RMA and if anything they completely delayed our process and pumped my body full of hormones I did not need. The stress that this clinic caused us from their disorganization has done us more harm than good going through multiple rounds of IUI. Every single treatment I have had done, the clinic had communicated wrong info, or even worse - failed to communicate important info, forgot to contact us to take medication that is timely, or the nurses across the board gave conflicting info. Countless times, I was not followed up with for prescriptions needing to be called in, which was the most stressful since our insurance is paying all types of money for treatments that are "more successful" when medicated. So you can imagine how it felt when we realized at night that the staff forgot to call a script in or didn't follow up - we were left feeling like these treatments were all for nothing. Some context + examples on our situation - My husband and I both have no known fertility issues after having done all testing. We blindly tried getting pregnant for a year (no fertility strips and sporadically) before going to this clinic, and I regret jumping the gun. My first IUI, I tested low in my progesterone so they prescribed it to me. When we went to pick it up, the prescription cost $600 for one months worth. I tried calling the office, but no answer. Since it was something I needed to take immediately that night, we had to purchase it. When I called the office the next day, they said it was "no problem" for them to call in the $15 prescription. I'm not sure why they didn't call that one in first.. they told me also I could have called the after hours line.. but I was never given that information. After a few failed IUI's, I told the doctor we wanted to take a step back and go back to trying naturally.. and she strongly advised against it. She ended up swaying us back into rounds of IUI, and strongly pushing IVF ASAP if not. My husband and I left the office not feeling great about it. In that same appointment, I told the doctor I did not want to take the progesterone anymore because of the way it was making me feel. She said I could test my levels again, which ended up coming back totally normal.. so I never really needed the progesterone in the first place. On that note, I had to come back into the clinic a few times for other tests that were "read wrong" by the nurses. Ultimately, our doctor kept pushing us for IVF treatments.. which we definitely did not need. The main objectives of the doctors here are to MAKE MONEY OFF OF YOU. Remember that going into clinic's like this. My husband and I are extremely local to the area and both grew up here. We personally know 4 separate couples who went through IUI / IVF with this clinic - ALL who have since left on bad terms and NOT gotten pregnant. This clinic used to be great *apparently*, but I would not trust them with your time or insurance money. In the end, we got pregnant naturally without their help. Which is funny because the doctor told me I would not get pregnant without IVF - even though we had no known fertility issues. It makes me sick to my stomach they do this to people.
