Kate is super warm, friendly, prompt with communication, and overall a joy to work with. Because I had a small number of people that needed makeup services (myself, my mom, and my sister-in-law) I worked with Taylor instead of Kate for my wedding, but both of them were at my trial and were super thorough and listened to exactly what I wanted, making adjustments as needed. They were also both very excited about my nontraditional bridal vision and created a look that complemented it perfectly. On the morning of my wedding, Taylor arrived promptly and was super warm, bubbly, and easygoing; we had such a great time getting our makeup done, she made it super relaxing and fun. I LOVED the way my makeup turned out and it did not budge all day despite pouring rain, lots of ugly-crying (I was a mess during our ceremony), and dancing the night away. In all of our planning leading up to the event, Erika put me at ease. There were many changes that occurred throughout the past few months, and Erika worked with me through them all. She & her team took care of me, my bridesmaids and my mother, as well as my mother-in-law & gave us EXACTLY what we needed to feel extra beautiful for the special day. I also love how good she was with the children- offering them a "fairy-dusting" which they were very excited about :-) It was nice being able to have all the space that is available in the Salon area at Viana Hotel and Spa - we had room for a lovely breakfast spread (complete with mimosas :-)) while comfortably getting our hair and makeup done, and enough of a seating area to comfortably wait/ rotate chairs for makeup and hair. Erika did her best to ensure that we stayed focused on task and try to keep with our schedule! I must mention how Erika did go ABOVE and BEYOND anything that I could have asked or expected- I'm so happy that we added the option of touch-ups, where she would meet us at the wedding venue to make sure we all looked good before the ceremony- while we were out taking off-site photos before the ceremony, we realized that we had not taken the ceremony items with us! I got in touch with Erika & she arranged to grab all of the items from my friend back at the hotel & she arrived at the venue before we did- all set up to immediately touch up our makeup - & with all the ceremony items on hand.
