I would first like to state that I am a person who is always tense and very uninviting to people touching me, especially strangers. With that being said, I have been suffering from back spasms and there was no remedy I've tried to alleviating the nagging pain. That is until I visited Thai Massage Therapy. I came across their grand opening special ($5 off) and decided to give it a try. In respects to the establishment being fairly new, I was surprised on how smoothly the business operated, which is a rare case when a business opens its doors. I booked the 60 minute deep tissue massage $40 with the $5 off but I tipped $10 because the masseuse was very attentive to my tension. When I walked into the spa I was greeted by a spunky receptionist who was very accommodating and professional. When she showed me to the room where I was going to receive my massage I noticed the ambiance to be very tranquil and calming. I was a bit nervous but the masseuse made me confident that I was in proper hands. The massage felt great and sent me to nirvana. I wished it lasted longer than 60 minutes. Once she was done I felt like a new person. I've never felt so relaxed and my back felt great. I highly recommend this place! read more

I was long overdue for a massage. Called same day in the morning and Anna was very nice over the phone. She scheduled my husband and I for a massage at 6:15. We walked in Anna and Nancy were very welcoming took out temperature gave us some hand sanitizer and walked us in our room. Anna was excellent! I told her about some back pain I was experiencing and she really focused on that area. We got a 90min massage. We felt very relaxed after. The back pain I was experiencing before the massage went away. I'm very satisfied with the overall service. My husband was also very pleased with the massage that Nancy gave him . If I can give zero stars I will didn't get to the place or to get a massage I made an appointment t for 7 pm today they still confirmed my appointment for 7pm. A lady called me saying to come in 6:30 which I wasn't able to considering I'm a single mother I work so have to plan my day as I work and am with my kids. I told her I couldn't take the 6:30 since I worked a bit farther out so that's y I booked for 7pm so she said ok see you at 7pm. Calls back again and tells me no you can't come at 7 come in 7:30 or come in tomorrow when I already had an appointment and confirmed my appointment. Mind you I have again had set up a baby sitter for the kids thinking I have an appointment and then tries to change time on me not once but twice. I will not be setting up any appointments anymore. I can already tell this place doesn't take your time in consideration what's the point of making an appointment if it's not going to be as planned I won't bother making appointments because they won't consider your time. read more

I got the Thai combo yesterday and all I can say is worst massage ever. I felt robbed upon paying and I didn't even want to tip but I tipped out of courtesy for her effort. But the lady that massaged me didn't even massage at all, she just rubbed my back. The stretches were awful, she put her knee or leg on the bones or very painful areas where normally that's not where you put it. There was absolutely no technique for massage. I'm still in much pain, Knotts everywhere; she did not know what she was doing. I get massages all the time constantly and I've had the best massages as well as bad ones; for me to say this is the worst massage where I even felt I was robbed to pay is bad. I don't normally complain on Yelp, if you see my reviews; I've never complained on a massage place. But even my family gives me better massages than the lady that I paid to massage me yesterday. She kept looking at the clock and just rubbing the oil on me with absolutely no technique. The entire time I was in pain because the stretches were not good at all. She was putting her knee directly on my spine or foot which is dangerous. Then she was trying to shove her elbow on my neck next to my carotid artery. I have a masters degree in acupuncture and oriental medicine. Based on my anatomy knowledge; a lot of those stretches she was trying to do are dangerous. You're never supposed to put any pressure directly on the spine or prevent blood flow to the carotid vein or pressure on it. I'm questioning if she's even licensed. Worst massage ever. I wanted my muscles rubbed and the Knotts taken care of. The entire session was all painful stretches with no technique or no pressure points been manipulated; instead a knee; foot or elbow on a bone or hamstrings of the legs. Beyond painful; please train your staff. I did tell the front desk I didn't like the massage and she just smiled and asked me to tip. I will never do that as a professional. Instead look into making things right. I have neck/ shoulder pain and I'm really tight; I did tell the masseu about it. She tried to work on it at the end but my experience overall was already downhill. Never massaged my head, back of my head, never massaged my clavicle to help alleviate neck shoulder tension, no buttock pressure points to help alleviate lower back pain, no feet massage, no hand massage. It was more of ugly painful inserting heel and leg directly into non muscular areas of my body and causing sharp pain upon me, then just rubbing oil and looking at the clock with no massage technique or manipulation. It felt like my 2 year old was rubbing lotion on me read more

Horrible customer service. I've been here once before and it was ok but today I show up and the lady was ridiculous. My husband walked in earlier today to make an appointment for me at 6pm. So I show up at 6pm and the lady didn't want to open the door for me because she said my appointment was at 6:15pm. She finally decides to let me in and claims I'm not on the schedule but remembers my husband coming in. She claimed my time had 3 people booked so I should come back at 7pm. I questioned her about the issue and then she said to come back tomorrow. First of all there is a reason we make appointments, I have kids and as a mom I had to plan this outing. I was supposed to have an hour of relaxation but it was the complete opposite. I told her I wouldn't be returning and instead of apologizing for the mishap she tells me ok and goes back to what she was doing. I felt so unheard. read more

The massage therapist, Nida, has been doing work on me. She makes sure to focus on the areas that have tension and knots along with the full body massage package. The hot stones are my favorite. The treatments were a combo of everything Thai hot rocks Swedish deep tissue....we did 90 mins and regret not doing 120 min.
