Stopped into the Long Beach Hotel for a week long work trip and it's definitely a hidden gem! I found the hotel to be exactly what was needed, friendly staff, clean room and bathroom, a large and comfortable bed and a smart TV which is a real plus nowadays! I stayed here Saturday night. I arrived to the hotel at about 8pm after a very long drive from northern NY which was made longer by looking for a parking spot. After about 30 minutes of searching for parking I pulled in front of the hotel and went in. I checked in and asked where I might find parking and was told they have a lot for $25 per night. I parked my car in the lot that was a block away and when I returned to the hotel I realized how dirty and beat up it looked and there was a strong pot oder in the lobby. I went to my room on the second floor which was like a maze to get too. When I found my room it was tiny and 87°F. The remote didn't work (batteries.) so I called to the front desk but the phone didn't work, so I went back downstairs, got batteries, a security guard walked me up and made sure the remote worked. It finally cooled off and I went to bed. The room was clean, the bed comfy, the shower spectacular. The walls were paper thin and could hear the children on one side of me making typical children noises, the man on the phone ALL NIGHT, and the couple doing what couples do. I finally put in head phones and was able to sleep. I will be finding somewhere else to stay next time I'm in Long Beach. read more

Ok so, here's the thing, I've never stayed at the Long Beach Hotel in LB NY. I went to an event that they had inside their Ballroom to celebrate the Summer Solstice. Upon calling to ask about parking and if the event was inside, the phone rep was rather clueless. He said he'd have someone call me to no avail. I bought the ticket and found the hotel via GPS. The room itself was large nicely arranged and adequately clean. The parking is street parking. The boardwalk and beach are lovely and in walking distance. This said, the Marketing Manager Jennifer gets 5 stars from me as she was helpful and warmly responsive to my inquiries. read more

Despite the many terrible reviews, my fiancé and I decided to give this hotel a chance. We took a tour, spoke with staff, and hoped they would prove the negative feedback wrong. Unfortunately, we were completely let down. We had set up a hotel block for our wedding guests and were assured everything was confirmed. Without a single call or email, the hotel sold out--leaving no availability for our guests and forcing us to scramble to find new accommodations just weeks before the big day. To make matters worse, our wedding invitations had already been printed, sealed, and mailed--with this hotel's booking information and a shuttle schedule included. Because of the hotel's negligence, we had to open every single envelope, cut out the now-useless hotel and shuttle info, and repackage them. Not only was this time-consuming and expensive, but it added a completely unnecessary layer of stress to an already intense planning process. When I called to ask what happened, I received no apology or effort to make things right. I spoke with Bengy, who acknowledged that the block was in their system but said that since no one had booked yet, they didn't bother to hold the rooms or contact me--despite the wedding still being months away in September. This attitude shows a shocking lack of professionalism and accountability. Beyond that, the hotel is outdated, poorly managed, and clearly not equipped to handle weddings or large group bookings. Their carelessness not only affected our lodging plans but also made the shuttle service we had arranged pointless, further inconveniencing our guests. We truly tried to give this place a fair chance, but they proved to be completely unreliable. Rooms do not look anything like those on the website. Clearly a very old hotel and not kept up except for the lobby. While the rooms are small, we could handle that if there wasn't a cleanliness issue. - The desk top and floors were "sticky" - The closet door was ripped off? - Had to keep the curtain open to feel the airconditioning (which was old and dirty); great view into the building/rooms across the airshaft :( - Hallway and stairs were warped, actually making the steep staircase unsafe for some. - Hallway and stair carpeting was ABSOLUTELY FILTHY. Appeared as if it were not cleaned in years...not days! - Bed was maybe a full size for two of us, was definitely not a queen size and was very uncomfortable. The pillows were throw pillows. DON'T STAY HERE. EVER. If I could give this hotel ZERO STARS, I would. Tiny (as in: a king bed barely fits - nowhere for luggage...or walking), run-down rooms with old small bathrooms, narrow hallways (as in: two people have to turn sideways to cross each other, narrow...), old scary elevators. The refrigerator in the first room we saw was one of those cubes you find in a college dorm room- and was dented so much it looks like it was used all 4 years.... My wife was on the verge of a full-on panic attack from claustrophobia - I'm serious, it's bad. The rooms and hotel look NOTHING like what is shown on Hotels.com where we booked. After being shown several unacceptable rooms, I asked for a refund and was denied. We ended up leaving- just could not stay. I wouldn't feel safe there. The place has to be some sort of fire hazard... After several attempts at contacting the management the following Monday (who was nowhere to be found when we arrived on a Friday) I was denied a refund of any sort again. Without any doubt, the ABSOLUTE WORST hotel experience of my life. If, for some reason, you think you might still give them a try, take my advice - ask to see the room before you pay them. This review is really just to wake up the owner of this place. This place has so much potential, mainly because it has no competition in the area and could have been a wonderful place for a nice getaway. The lobby is nice, the staff were friendly and that was it. The elevator, the narrow hallways and steep stairs looked rancid straight from a horror movie. The floors and doors were noisy and squeaky. Curtains and windows looked outdated and bedsheets were cheap producing static electricity. You could hear and smell everything and everybody through the thin walls. However, luckily our bathroom was pretty decent (even though the soaps dispensers were jammed). This place needs a major renovation. As my son said: "they busted the entire budget on the lobby". **HORRIBLE, DIRTY AND UNHELPFUL*** experience from start to finish. Walked into our room and the toilet was already filled with sh*t and all clogged. There was all brown crud at the top of the toilet and we hadn't even used it, just opened to find that stuff floating on top. When we went down to the front desk to inform them of the toilet situation, the brunette girl was busy flirting with some young guests so we spoke to 2 young boy's.... all they said was they'll get someone to come fix it. Some maid came in the room with a bucket and some cleaner spray to scrub the toilet while we waited in the room and watched her. The younger men at the front stated they couldn't give us any money back or refund us or do anything for the inconvenience. Then they said "you can get 10% off the bar I guess" meanwhile the bar closed at 7 and it was 6...Then they did say we could move to another room though even though they were fully booked (and that they would just put the next guest checking in, into our clogged toilet room)..... Then the next day, the toliet was still broken. When we went down to tell the man at the front desk the following day he was helpful and accommodating and put us in the "ocean view room" on an upgrade. Nice of him to be helpful and the first one to actually apologize but the AC was leaking onto the bed from above us... the bathroom was so old and the pillows were small throw pillows. Also, the floors were slanted and the doors were unaligned with major holes and spaces. The walls were paper thin and we heard every conversation going on in the room next to us word for word through the walls. Rooms were soo small and the "ocean view room" was about a sliver of sand you saw through other buildings out the window. This place needs a huge renovation and better employees! Very upset because I was celebrating my 30th birthday in LB and I had around 10 other friends book rooms and nobody enjoyed there stay either. I will absolutely not be back and tell everyone staying in Long Beach to beware and stay away from this place forever! ZERO stars. Not only was this place disgusting, tiny, damp; and you can hear a fart from down the hall... but someone working here stole my credit card information. I've posted on the hotel's restaurant's page as well as it was literally either the restaurant OR the hotel... nowhere else as I only used this specific card in these two unfortunate places- for a reason. Interestingly enough, the person who took the information is using it at restaurants in the immediate area. You are being investigated, Happy Holidays. I originally tried to book over the phone with the Allegria since my family who lives in the area suggested it. The Allegria said they were full and that I could book at an affiliated hotel. The person on the line said it was comparable to the Allegria... JOKES ON ME. If this was comparable to the Allegria then I'm Audrey Hepburn reincarnated, like WTF. My son and I had been travelling and hotels I would have preferred to stay at were booked, I'd already paid for this place, so I could not back out. The marketing personnel had the audacity to ask me to post for them- not in a million years. We spent most of our time outside of the hotel, but the time spent within was simply unfortunate. I could hear every single breath from my neighboring guest who was getting a massage from an escort. I had to play kids movies loudly through the night just so that my son and I didn't have to hear everything going on around us (beside us, above, below). It did not feel safe here, so whether you are alone/ in my situation or with your family... just no. The events have unfolded since are just the icing on the cake. I'm not one to speak on crappy experiences, but it is important to note the condition of the property and the lack of personal and financial safety whilst staying here. Booked through Expedia. Elevator did not work - sign said would be repaired but never was. Hotel floors were not clean, one room in the lobby was restricted- looked like a flood. I wanted a reduced rate. Hotel said call Expedia- we can't do that. Expedia said hotel has to do it and hotel wouldn't answer their calls. I'm fairly certain the elevator still is not working. I will NEVER book with Expedia again. They do not stand behind their bookings and their customers. If you want to stay at this hotel, verify in advance that the elevator, and all else, is operational. For over $300 per night I want an elevator and a safe, clean space. read more

To call this a hotel is wildly inaccurate. My friend and I stayed here for a wedding and were shocked by the conditions of the rooms. So much so, I inspected for bed bugs and roaches. Fortunately, we had none, but the room was not clean. During our 2 days there, we constantly had small gnats and flies in the room. The sink and shower head had little water coming out and the shower curtain reeked of mildew. We had a window AC unit that made loud noises throughout the day and night, making it hard to get any real sleep. This was made worse by the paper-thin walls and we constantly heard every movement and utterance. They also have an incredibly outdated, tiny elevator, which my friend and I swore off after using it once. Barely fits 2 people with 2 luggage's and takes forever to move. It was so terrible, we just used the stairs each time after, even when carrying our luggage and checking out. Don't believe the sticker you see outside your door upon arrival. It is clear there are minimal efforts made to sanitize and clean each room. We had other friends in the same hotel and they were equally disgusted by the states of their rooms. The cost per night should not be more than $40 and I'm still seething about paying $180/night for an unkept motel. Unfortunately, there aren't many options for lodging in the area, so we had to power through it. We could not wait to check out and woke up especially early just to leave (6:30am to be exact) and hop on a train back to Penn Station. It was my first and last time visiting the area. read more

We were booked a night at this hotel by American Airlines because our flight was delayed. The young women that checked us in was overwhelmed because she was the only one at the desk at 8:30pm. We asked if their were complimentary toothbrushes because our luggages were still at the airport. She said no but she will open up the gift shop after she finishes checking in the other customers and we can buy one. We got to our room through an tiny outdated elevator and one good thing that we didn't have our 3 suitcases because they wouldn't fit in this elevator. The room was a size of a tiny bedroom. It smelled terrible! I was get nauseous. There was hardly any water flow in the sink. There were no cups so we went downstairs to the coffee area and grabbed 2 paper cups. My husband turned in the water in the shower and Brown water came out! He waited a minutes to clear, jumped in and out if that shower! The bed we were after the sheets were dirty and hesitant to sleep on them. There weren't any pillows but 4 navy blue toss pillows. The only positive is the outside of the "hotel" is that it looks presentable. The lobby is ok and the hallways of our room are presentable. But it stops there. Don't recommend this "hotel" read more

Cockroaches! Bed bugs! Thin walls. Noisy neighbors. Leaking ceilings. Terrible! Canceled the rest of our stay and got out of there right away. The kids couldn't sleep at night because they kept feeling things crawl on them. We got up and turned on the light and cockroaches and bedbugs were scattering everywhere. We had to go home in the middle of the night and wash all our clothing and everything in our luggage in hot water to sterilize it. The Hotel needs to do something about the cockroaches and bedbugs because these things will get into your clothing and into your belongings and suitcases and once you bring them home to your apartment or house, you will never be able to get rid of them with a professional services that will have to put chemicals all over your house and it'll be very costly. The person who left the review with the video of the cockroach is 100% telling the truth, I didn't take videos because honestly, it was the middle of the night and we were just trying to get the kids out of the place but unfortunately this place looked nothing like the photos. On line I seen pictures of beautiful, clean, modern rooms ... ours wasn't!!! Filthy!!! Dirty curtains, baseboards were thick with crud, the lamps I didn't want to touch! The remote for the tv!!!! No plastic cups, the sink in the bathroom was coming off the wall! Dirty walls, chipped paint and the hall outdid smelt! I complained and they offered to clean the room! The ratings online weren't great, but I decided to give them a try regardless. Upon check-in, the staff were friendly and willing to provide as much, or as little service as desired. The hotel Is a beach hotel. These types need constant maintenance to keep looking fresh. It looks like that's done, except for the carpet in hallways in the second floor. It's rough looking. The room was 240, an end unit. Small, but for a night, not bad. Nowhere to put your luggage, except on the floor. The curtains are mainly for show, they don't provide much use during the day. If you're a light sleeper, you'll be up with the sun, at 5am. As far as sleeping? It's tough because the a joining door to the next guest room makes it seem like they are in your room. You can hear every word, every step, every bathroom break. It's very noisy. The room was clean, but small and loud. Other than that it served its purpose, and the price was average. This hotel houses section 8 and low income with vouchers. They stay approx one month. I do not have problem with them. However I do have problem when I pay $250 a night to stay there along with those who have no regard for other guests who want to sleep late night. I work hard and long hours to pay bills and keep roof over my family. I go on vacation to enjoy time off. The problem I have is that I do not want to be houses in filthy, outdated homeless shelter'ish type accommodation where I volunteered in the past. I want to stay at $250 a night room and feel safer. Questionable people are in the lobby and front of the hotel. I did not feel safe. The room was filthy, dingy and had thrift store furniture. Water was brown in shower. After asked for another room for issues with noise and the condition of the room my family moved to recently upgraded room. It was 100% better but it is more like Motel 6. The noise level was little better but it continued well past midnight. I do not recommend this hotel for the price you pay. read more

BUYER BEWARE!!! Long Beach Hotel Fraudulent Credit Card Charges Reservation made (fully refundable, cancellation free until a few days before the arrival) in early January for a late February stay. They fraudulently charged my credit card with 4 separate charges totaling almost $2000. We called them as soon as we saw the charges. They said "we don't know how this happened" and returned half the charges. As we've tried to get the rest of our refund, they said "our system crashed and now we can't get any more information about the charges." New excuse is that "the hotel is in a dispute with their former credit card processor and the processing company refuses to give them any more information" We've been fighting for over a month to get the rest of our money back. Our credit card company is also hitting a wall trying to deal with them. Book at your own risk!!! read more

I hesitate to leave negative reviews about any business, especially any business I haven't even set foot in yet. But in this instance, I consider it a preemptive strike and a warning to anyone who may be considering a stay at this hotel. My wife and I, along with her son and daughter-in-law, had reserved rooms back in June so we could attend my wife's grandson's wedding in Long Beach at the end of September. We all are flying in from the West Coast on non-refundable tickets. About a week ago the hotel sent an email stating that they had cancelled my stepson's reservation due to "renovations" at the hotel. When I called seeking more information, I received abundant apologies from a staffer and an offer for 20% off our next stay but was provided no solutions to our quandary or any recourse in terms of finding accommodations elsewhere in Long Beach or nearby. I subsequently tried to contact a manager but was informed that anyone in a position of authority was out for the weekend; I was instead referred to the hotel's email address. I sent an e-missive with all the pertinent details but I have yet to get a response. This morning, I called again and was told (yet again) that no manager was available. I've left a message in the (likely futile) hope someone will get back to me. All in all, my interactions with this hotel have been phenomenally negative; their customer communication are nonexistent and the lack of professionalism is, to understate it, disappointing. At this point all I can hope for is a clean room as we seek accommodations elsewhere for the other members of our family. Who knows, they may be better off for it. read more

Never again. This place isn't cheap and at best it's motel level quality. I stayed for one night as part of a beach getaway - the only positive is its location. The staff that checked us in were not friendly and especially rude when we asked about their parking fee. FYI there's no lot by the hotel so you have to use street parking, which is hard to find given the location. For some reason there are two buildings. Depending on where you room is, you may not be able to access it using certain stairs. The front desk staff watched me walk the wrong way and when I came downstairs again and let them know I couldn't find my room, they smirked and said it was in the other building and I had to go a different way. Why not say this before? The room was very basic, small, and not clean. The "bed" had no headboard and was just a foam mattress topper on top of a box spring. Also when I got to the room housekeeping was still cleaning it so clearly there's no communication among housekeeping and the front desk. Overall this place is not up to standards in quality or service. You're better off getting an Airbnb or spending a little more and staying at the alegria. read more

this hotel is a jewel in the rough. It has tremendous potential to be a great 3 star hotel. unfortunately right now even though the front desk staff and the housekeeping staff are working hard on the problem. The location of the hotel is fantastic, one block from the beach. parking is a nightmare- if you find a spot, better keep it and stay there for your entire vacation or else you won't get another parking spot when you return to the hotel. We still had to climb the stairs 3 floors up for 2 more days, when inquiring about the possibility of the elevator repair, Tekla, the front desk manager on duty, had the initiative to offer us another room for the remainder of 2 days of our vacation in the wing with a working elevator and situated on the 1st floor. This is what I call great service and going out on a limb to make the guests happy . All the staff has been extremely nice and helpful and very attentive! Having a really bad knee pain from an injury made my staying at the hotel quite unpleasant having to climb up 3 flights of stairs. The hotel is in the process of being renovated. Hopefully they will provide some hanging hooks in the bathroom for the clothes and towels and also some extra shelves in the bathroom so we can put our toiletries. The color scheme is really lovely- white and off white with dark blue or ocean blue, the lobby is marbled white with blue maritime accents , making it light and airy. The ocean motif permeates the whole interior of the hotel, making it inviting and cozy in the same time! Update-We left the hotel at 4:30 am and were threatened with a $20k lawsuit (that he would win! According to the owner) if I spoke "to the media". He then proceeded to send me a barrage of text messages and videos from the security cameras saying that I ran away. The owner said my claim of being bitten by something, (I have marks on my ear, neck and arm) were unproven and therefore fraud because they didn't find the offending creature in the room . You seriously couldn't make this shit up! I literally couldn't stay there another minute it was so disgusting. Good thing we live 45 minutes away and had the option to just leave. I'm writing this review as I lay in the rock hard bed, on sandpaper sheets with only a thin blanket and a 100 thread count sheet to cover me. I am cursing myself for staying here. If I could give this place negative 5 stars I would. The luggage cart is stained and falling to pieces, the welcome mat as you enter is disgustingly filthy. This place is a nightmare. The window mounted air conditioner noise is actually better than the conversations I can hear coming through the little plastic accordion things on the side of the air conditioner from the street. There are so many things wrong that I can't even organize my thoughts to document them. I don't believe the floor has ever been cleaned. I spilled some water and when I wiped it up, the towel was black with dirt. I honestly feel like I'm staying in a Fleabag hotel circa 1970s Times Square where someone would ask me how many hours I want the room. Zero hours! I actually have to check out tomorrow and go home early this is so bad. I would rather eat the $200+ I paid for the second night of our stay than to stay here another second. The carpets in the hallways and stairways are filthy, the walls of my room are filthy too. There's no ice machine so you have to go to the front desk to get ice. The safe in my room doesn't work, don't even get me started on the bathroom. Literally the worst place I've ever stayed in my entire life. Best advice? DO NOT STAY AT THE LONG BEACH HOTEL! The incredibly noisy window a/c unit has been going on and off all night, cycling every 10 minutes which is strangely more welcome than the very loud conversation of the people on the deserted street below. I would yell down to them to be quiet, but I can't open them. Worse than this is the fact that I haven't slept more than a few minutes since I got into bed. Between the rock hard bed, the bed springs popping through the mattress and the light coming from the 2 inch gap under the door to the hallway you'd think it couldn't get worse. Well, I now have bites on my ear, neck and arm, basically anything that isn't covered by clothing. Red, hot, itchy bites and I'm pretty much freaking out. STAY AWAY! We were in town for a friends wedding. I booked a suite with one queen bed and two twin beds. Upon arrival (and at no time prior) we were told those rooms were renovated and no longer had the twin beds. When I asked what we should do because we had four people in the room, they said they would try to accommodate two cots in the living room area. When I asked what we should do if this was unacceptable, the woman at the front desk told me there was no other option and we would have to live with the room because they were sold out (they were actually extremely overbooked but I'll get to that later). When we got into our room, we had one double (definitely not a queen) and one tiny living room. The hotel added one cot to our room and everyone could tell we would not have been able to fit a second. Thankfully, we discovered the couch was a (gross) pull out sofa so we were able to make the room work. The room itself was unclean, the bathrooms were in disrepair, there was no soap provided in the middle of a pandemic, and the air conditioners were dying. We could hear literally everyone's conversations within 5 rooms. This was not worth the price or hassle. The management seemed unwilling and unmotivated to help anyone with an issue. We had several friends in town for the same wedding who booked the hotel through Airbnb or Booking.com and every single one of the reservations were not found due to a "communications error". No refunds were given nor did the hotel try to find them some other place to stay. The only bright spot was the bar, which we needed, because this place sucked. read more

We had a party to attend in Long Beach and decided to find a hotel nearby so we didn't have to drive to the event. When we checked in I was a little nervous because one of the two women at the front desk was on the phone (AirPod) and was pacing the counter going from computer to computer speaking loudly and cursing for about 10 minutes. The other women couldn't check us in because she needed the help of the woman on the phone. Unfortunately we had to listen and wait until she was done to check in. She didn't even say a word to us when she came over to check us in. I think the conversation she had could have either been done quietly or in private. It was very unprofessional & rude. Once checked in we went to the room. The hotel itself is immaculate. Very clean and smelled great. Our room was small but enough for us. It was very clean! Cute decor. My only gripe about the room is the shower floor is very slippery. A rubber mat would help. We both almost fell getting out of the shower. The location is prime. COCKROACHES. Me, my sister, and two of my friends got two rooms. Two of us were in each room. We checked in earlier this afternoon, went to dinner, and got home around 9:30 pm. I notice something move on the floor and it's a huge roach. Then another one comes out and then another. Me and my friend pack up our stuff and go to the front desk to let them know about the roaches. They said they would have someone check in the morning. We're on our way to an air bnb. There's no way I'm waiting until the morning in a room with roaches. read more

To say that this was the worst hotel experience I had in my life is an understatement. Rooms were disgusting- no shower curtain, filthy sheets and headboards, bugs in the room, water leaking everywhere both in the lobby and in rooms - I can go on and on but you get it. Roach sightings everywhere. Do not waste your money. When talking to the staff the manger became extremely defensive and blamed it on a storm- no- cleanliness has nothing to do with a storm nor do roaches all over your hotel. read more

I wish I read the reviews before booking for my nephews wedding. Let's just say nothing has changed much over the years !! Let's begin: Upon arrival the front desk lady was very busy we waited while she answered her calls coming in to the desk. She was not alone I believe it was one of the owners with her but didn't offer a hand. To help her. We do understand it is a beach hotel but when your rugs are that crappy leading to guest rooms you should remove them, stretch them & most definitely have them cleaned!!! GROSS is an understatement Let's say we were relieved the rooms have wood floors. One of our rooms the sink was gross, and the shower floor was very slippery in all the rooms of the other people i know that was staying there. The beds were horrible almost like crates with a little padding. The hotel is non smoking but clearly people were smoking in the rooms and they did not address it. The next evening we had 3 more rooms I needed to cancel one of the rooms because unfortunately someone couldn't make it. They were nice enough not to charge us. When making the reservations I requested early check-in of 2 pm. IWe were coming for wedding and needed to get ready. I was told of course. Upon checking in the nice front desk person said I will leave a note to have your rooms done early. We went done early to confirm and was told by owners son we don't do this. Long story short 4 of our rooms didn't get their rooms till 4 pm wedding was at 5. My second room still wasn't ready when I was leaving for the wedding they said they would leave the key in my room. Well at 1am I couldn't get into the room I had a key for yup it's true. We went downstairs for a rekey and it didn't work. So glad the nice girl was at the desk she came up with the master and let us in. The best employees are the young lady with the curly hair and the amazing maintenance worker. They know customer service is key. The owners need to learn customer service is key. A total of 12 rooms and I would say at least 5 of us had some sought of issue with the room. read more

I stayed in this hotel the night before my wedding in December 2023. I booked a pretty small room unknowingly and the guy at the front desk gave me an upgrade and was very nice and accommodating. Super friendly as well. read more

Beware of changing your reservation, because this hotel engages in shady practices. I had a family emergency where I had to leave after checking out after only staying 1/2 nights from my reservation. The front desk said it was okay and the Manager would call me to initiate the refund in good faith. I was charged for 2 nights even though I checked out after 1 night. I wasn't able to get in touch with the Manager after multiple attempts to contact them. In addition, after disputing it with my credit card, the hotel lied and sent in false documentation saying I stayed the 2 nights. Book another hotel if you're trying to stay in this area. read more

Roaches in the bathroom of multiple rooms (manager argued there was no roach problem immediately after viewing the roaches; apparently they are all "dying" so there is no problem) Elevator is old fashion and extremely small. No lightbulb in the lamp. No hand towels upon arrival (because they ran out). Window screens had holes, so we couldn't open windows and enjoy the nice beach weather. Had to change rooms after the first night due to issues (multiple friends that were there also had to change rooms due to roaches). Iron had melted plastic on it, so I couldn't iron my dress shirt Beware, would never recommend. read more

this hotel is very bad. $300 and we chose to sleep in our car . enough said We were not overwhelmed by the lobby but it seemed ok. After walking down the dim lit hallway, and opening the door to the room we were shocked. Buzzing noise, no decor , bed looked dirty. Throw pillows , no real ones and a weird smell. read more

Highley recommend the Long Beach Hotel. Very clean and the staff from top to bottom is super friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed Joe the night shift attendant as he went above and beyond to help us with all our needs. We came from NC to see a Concert in Wantagh and enjoyed this hotel so much that we had to come back 2 weeks later and do it all over again. They have a great Bar & Restaurant with excellent food, service & atmosphere. It feels like home here and we look forward to coming back for many more stays. read more

Stay far far away from this hotel! Think twice before booking. Me and my family had a huge amount of rooms this past weekend for my cousins wedding in Jones beach. We were very dissatisfied with everything that went on with our stay this weekend from start to finish. According to them the hotel recently went under some changes ( yet today 7/3 he told me he's been owning the hotel since 2014 so they are full liars) but that is no excuse for everything that went on for us. The customer service we experienced was horrific. Here's a small glimpse into some of the problems which were not few and far between: 1) My best friend who was coming to babysit came and was given a one bed room when she paid $260 and ordered two beds for her son. They then finally got her another room. Later that night when she was changing my son a random man walked into the room he clearly had keys as this room ( their response was oh maybe he was drunk!) had been double booked. Also her room bill was not under her name or credit card it had my uncles info so who knows if anything is correct there. 2) we asked about early check in and being near my friend and they said early check in hopefully would be okay but they can't switch our room as we have one of the nicest ones and it's not recommended. Our room was a joke. You call it a superior suite but yet they were small as can be with no room to move. Our rooms were finally "ready" at 3:30 yet we got up there and only one of the rooms was cleaned. We were also sent on a wild goose hunt as we were told room 222 but yet there's no sign for that room it's behind 223 and they expected us to do that. We had my son in a stroller and my mother with a cane and went from one building to another one too many times. Finally at 4:00 the other room was clean but we weren't given a blanket, batteries for the remote in one room and then the other rooms tv did not work. Also the water in one of the rooms barely worked. 3) a majority of our cousins rooms were also not ready or given the wrong rooms and then when we got back from the wedding at 1 am three of their keys for different rooms did not work. You are better off staying in another town and driving to the beach. read more
