I enjoyed the ride, as well as the variety of music played! The seats on the ride were pretty steady! Be sure to read the signs once you step inside, so that you stay safely inside! Cost | $8 Customer Service | The girl operating the ferris wheel was friendly & welcoming from the moment we walked up & until the moment we left! Sweet! Note: Shopping is nearby, walking distance, and just steps away, as well as restaurants! Overall | Yes, please! The experience was pure fun! The Ferris Wheel is a staple at the Pike, $8 per entry. The attendant has a great sense of humor. They do take debit but sometimes it's a hit and miss because their machine may not work. The first time we went on, it was cash only. Assuming their machine didn't work. The 2nd time, they were taking both cash and debit. Cool night view of Long Beach but I prefer the day view of the water and Queen Mary. read more

For $6/pp, this is a fun way to get a great view of the downtown waterfront at night, and my whole family had a blast. During a recent family reunion, we found ourselves in Long Beach a few days before a cruise and this attraction was right outside our hotel, running right next to a whole row of food trucks, so Ferris Wheels and Food Trucks naturally became an easy outing for the group! The attendant greeted us and got us situated quickly, and they do accept credit which was very helpful in handling this large group of 12! What I liked most, aside from the view, was that they did a great job of giving each of the "parties" in line a private ride they'd enjoy. I appreciated that very much, but I came to realize that meant that there'd be a lot of time rotating around as they filled each car. No matter. It provided extra stationary time to check out the sweeping views. You can see over the tops of buildings and see the whole waterfront lit up. You can enjoy the silhouette of the Queen Mary and Aquarium and see lights for miles. Best of all, in the winter there's a nice breeze at night, which is even more enjoyable at the top. Once full we made about 3-5 loops around. The ride was smooth and stable, just as you'd hope, and a lot of fun for everyone. read more

This Ferris wheel is located right next to Pike Outlets in Downtown and it's very accessible. It opens at 3pm, and closes and 8pm. In my opinion it is a beautiful addition to the downtown, very colorful, busting with life. There was a lots of lightning a day I spent in town, so I decided not to go on a ride, but will definitely do so next time I'm in town. Definitely looks like a lot of fun and views of a harbor, lighthouse and Queen Mary must be pretty spectacular. read more

8:47 pm on Jan. 31, 2018 The dude told us he shut it down early because he didn't have change. He had already shut down the Ferris wheel and was shutting down the carousel. So put a sign that says exact change only. It's already cash only. Duh. I could've had a V8. We had $16 cash... But no, he had to be a prick towards my husband who was holding one of our daughters. We cut out of a birthday dinner early just to experience this dude's inability to improvise. read more

Great chill activity to do while taking a break from shopping on the PIKE. They only accept cash. As of May 2022 the cost is $6.00 per rider. Great view of the downtown LBC area...the Pier 76, the marina, light house, part of the beach and the Queen Mary.....and so much more. read more

Location is everything! Perfect views of the Queen Mary, the historic light house, Long Beach down town, and the beautiful shopping area! It's not a very big Ferris wheel. More like medium size. Cost is $4.00 per person. And yes even babies have to pay. ;( It's safe. Seat belts for the kids! At night it's so pretty with the lights on! I love Ferris Wheel's and the location by the ocean as well as only being $3 a ride, made me bookmark this for our trip to the aquarium last weekend. It doesn't start running until 2 pm, so plan accordingly. I though it would be closer to the water and not by the main street and parking garage, also thought it would be bigger, thus 4 not 5 stars. We were shopping near by and my niece really wanted to go on the ride. They charge 4 dollars a person(cash only). Sounds a bit expensive but you definitely get your money's worth. We probably went around 15 times. At the very top you get a pretty nice view of the surrounding area. You're able to see all of the shopping area and even as far out as the queen marry across the harbor. I'll be back, hopefully around sunset read more

Started waiting in a what I thought was a short line at least 20 minutes ago. I have never experienced a SLOWER ride staff. There are plenty of open carriages and the possibility of loading more than one at a time, but Nooooo! they are loading one at a time and only filling 6 carriages out of maybe 30 before running it. My back is starting to ache from standing and the line quadrupled since we arrived. Horrible experience! read more
