I asked the gentleman who was at the till to guide the boys as to their purchase. He chose a guitar and gave it to my grandson and walked away . He waited on a couple clients but there was down time and this gentleman had no interest in our small sale or the boys. They did purchase a guitar but that gentleman certainly took the excitement away from the boys. If the boys outgrow this guitar and want something better they said they will find another store that makes them feel welcome. This was a very disappointing experience for 2 young people

I stopped into Long & McQuade and asked an employee for help. He was super polite and helpful, walking me through everything I needed, explaining instructions clearly, and overall being a great employee! As I checked out, the two cashiers were also incredibly kind, and wished me the best of luck on my upcoming school year. The prices are reasonable, and they sell a variety of recording and music products. The staff are amazing, and the store is clean. Their return policy is fair. Two issues (and this is not Long & McQuade's fault) are: 1. Parking - very very tight parking space, not enough spots during peak hours 2. Exiting onto the busy road - there's no traffic light so turning left is always annoying Overall, I left Long & McQuade on a positive note. I will definitely be back when I need to purchase equipment again!
