I just wanted to share a quick positive experience I had with Mountain Auto Care, even though they…read moreultimately weren't able to service my car. After our check engine light came on, we called and spoke with Cameron. I explained what had happened, and he let me know that unfortunately they were getting ready to be closed for the next couple of days and likely wouldn't be able to service our car until early the following week. Even with that, he suggested we still stop by if we could. He said he could at least scan the car, see what was going on, and hopefully give us some direction. About 15 minutes later, we showed up and Cameron scanned the car for us. He confirmed that we were dealing with a cylinder 1 misfire (P0301), wrote down the code for us, and gave us some advice on how to diagnose the issue, figure out what was causing it, and hopefully get ourselves back on the road. What stood out to me was that he was genuinely willing to help even though he knew he probably wasn't going to get the business. He was getting ready to close within the next 30-40 minutes, but still took the time to talk with us and point us in the right direction. We ultimately had to handle the repair ourselves, but Cameron's willingness to help when he didn't have to was absolutely worth mentioning. Sometimes it's the small interactions that make you remember a business, and this was definitely one of them. Thanks, Cameron, for taking the time to help us out!

We naturally took the car to Auto Masters. When they test drove it, the noise was gone. We were told that the issue was probably caused by a rock that fell out right before the test drive. Auto Masters put the car on the lift to make sure, and confirmed that a rock had caused the issue, but had not caused further damage. We were surprised when we were told "no charge". We highly recommend Auto Masters!
