Lone survivalist has been my go to place for quality emergency and go bag items. From knives to lights to tents, backpacks, fire starter supplies, they sell it, I own it! Purchased and expensive specialty knife that didn't work for me as I had thought it would. Great product, but I changed my mind. They couldn't have been easier to work with. Took knife back, refunded my money, no questions asked. A money back guarantee that actually is ! Lou makes world class products and I highly recommend this outfit. Top shelf all the way. Try these guys, You won't ever be dissatisfie. Jack Vanderpool read more

I'll be on every and any site to tell you how the won't accommodate you. They don't care about the buyer. the are desperate to make a sale at any cost. I wouldn't support this company. read more

If there was a "zero" rating I would select it because that is exactly how much response I have received from them about my order that has not been shipped and all efforts to resolve the issue by phone or email have gone unanswered. Don't purchase anything from this company! read more

I have purchased a number of items from Lone Survivalist over the last several years and have never had any issues with quality or delivery like I have read in the Yelp reviews. Items purchased were always received in a reasonable time (no folks..this is not Amazon Prime) and in good shape (unlike many of my items ordered from Amazon). I do comparative pricing and also like Amazon, some items are reasonable priced, some not. Do your homework and you won't be disappointed. read more

I purchased the little Red Riot Light from Lone Survivalist weeks ago and I really loved the little rechargeable flashlight except.... The supplied battery goes dead overnight while fully charged and sitting on my desk! After repeated recharging, the battery still goes dead. I purchased a new pair of batteries and charger unit and still got the same results. Dead batteries! All I can assume is the circuitry in the unit is defective. I tried everything to contact the seller. I emailed them & texted them twice each with no reply. I like this little design so much that I stated I don't want a refund, I want a Fully Tested replacement Red Riot Light! Zip... Zero... Nada!!! As cool as some of their products look. I would never recommend anyone do business with Lone Survivalist !! Sad, I love toys and gadgets!! read more

Lone Survivalist - Defective Red Riot Light from Lone Survivalist. - Outdoor Gear Near Me - Luray, Virginia

I had the same issue with mine, but in my case I had never used it and a couple of days ago I opened it up to charge it for an up coming trip. And the flashlight wouldn't come on but the torch worked fine. I contacted them and was told to try and hold the power button down because it might be in sleep mode. When that didn't work, i contacted them again and asked for a replacement and they basically said they couldn't do anything. Terrible experience and customer service. Mind you, I have purchased other flashlights and headlamps from them but i will never buy anything from them again! read more

Ordered savage bag. Took 2 weeks to receive. They sent me picture of label on a computer saying nothing they could do it shipped. Creating a label doesn't mean it shipped. They offered nothing for my bag that came in the slow boat from China. Poor customer service service and not impressed with the bag. It's ok but may inner pockets are designed poorly and are useless read more

I stopped in with a question as I'd placed an order to gift on Thanksgiving and was afraid it wouldn't arrive on time. The customer service representative was very kind and was able to get me a lower cost in stock from the back. I'd preferred black as that's what my giftee usually wears. Because there was no new available in the back stock in that color, he gave me a bonus heat charger for the inconvenience of the grey. This is the same gentleman who took the time to tell me about a good number of products when I first visited looking at the flashlights. He also explained the charge battery box instructions to simplify it when I asked so I could share it when the gift is given. I'm no tech savvy mind and that alone was much appreciated. Thanks for your help! read more

Absolutely loved my new knives. The design and quality of them are amazing and you can tell that they really put thought and effort into their products. One of the customer service people, Jeff, was super helpful when I had to make a return previously. Just all around a great company. read more

Do NOT do business with this company!! My last 2 orders were missing items or were not sent at all after purchase. My first order was for 3 Nuke Lights, only one was sent. My second order was for a Black Lantern and Medical Go-Bag and all I received was a catalog and some brochures. After contacting them the first time I was finally sent the other 2 Nuke Lights I ordered but it took a long time, 2 weeks. After placing the 2nd order and receiving nothing, I contacted them again but this time I received no answer. I emailed them at least 5 times over a weeks time to include a photo of the empty box and even left a phone message but I heard nothing back. The worst part was that they charged my card for the whole purchase!! I finally wrote to the guy I went thru with my 1st order and he stated that they basically called me a liar about not receiving all the items I purchase and would no longer do business with me! If I was you, it would be in your best interest not to do any business with this company, they like to scam people and then ghost you when you complain!! Mike, AZ read more

I purchased 2 flashlights and I have had constant issues with the rechargeable batteries. The company did replace one and it had a non-working battery. I emailed them again suggesting they may have a battery supplier issue. Here is their response: "Thank you for letting us know! It definitely is a supplier issue we have been dealing with recently. I can't encourage you to try and fix the broken batteries-Lithium Ion batteries have quite a strong tendency to explode. Here are the specs of the battery that's inside of the Nuke Lights: The Nuke Light Cell Volts = 4.2 V Ampere-hour = 2,500 mAh Watt-hour = 10.5 Wh Approximate weight = 1.5 oz Quantity = 1 Total Watt-hour = 10.5 Wh I can ship you a new one yet again if you want, but I unfortunately can't guarantee that the battery is going to be any better." IT IS A SUPPLIER ISSUE . They know it and they are still shipping non-working flashlights. Since they supplied the battery specs to me I guess they want me to buy the next one on my own. ALL I WANT IS TWO WORKING FLASHLIGHTS LIKE I WAS PROMISED WITH MY PURCHASE! read more

I like a dummy ordered the Blade Box and have received some knives over the past couple of months. I have sent emails trying to stop the once per month knives from coming. All emails go unanswered and the poor quality knives keep coming. I would not recommend these folks. read more

Very sneaky. Advertising copy stated buy 2 get 3rd free. But the total price added $5 more, than the price of 2 items. So, if you didn't read the total dollar amount, then you got ripped off for $5 more! read more

I am giving zero stars! This has been an absolutely HORRIBLE experience with this company. It has taken them 2 1/2 weeks for me to receive a headlamp. (I still have not received the product) it took them 4 days to even ship the product. I reached out to customer service and they said there is nothing they could do. As they are a "small business" and are sorry they have upset many customers with the delay in receiving their orders. Even before they shipped my product I asked them if they could refund my shipping and or overnight it and still said nothing they could do. As the company there is absolutely many things you could do to service your customers. I highly DO NOT recommend ordering anything from this company. read more

I wish that I had read the reviews of this company before I ordered. I placed an order in July and it shows it shipped via UPS. I have yet to receive the shipment. It shows delayed at a UPS facility in Virginia. UPS can't find it and told me to file a claim in their system. Their system rejected the claim saying the shipper does not allow claims. The company has been zero help. I have emailed them several times. They won't do a refund to my credit card. Save your Time and Money. Shop elsewhere. A word to the wise... read more

I spent over $400 on products that never showed up. The company kept saying they were going to send the items. However, over 2 months later an email showed up that had a UPS tracking number, but, when I enquired, the tracking number showed that immediately after the label was created, they cancelled the order. Lonesurvival took me for well over $400 dollars and now I am in the process of recovering these funds. read more
