It is true that we went longer between grooming this time and Charli was a little rough. When we took her in this morning we told them we wanted a winter cut. I called at 4:00 to check on her status And they said she's on Resa's table now and she's going to have to take her skirt down a "little" short because she because has some mats. They called 14 minutes later and said she was ready. We went to pick her up and she was a total whack job. Her beard looked like it had been cut with a dull knife, she had long tufts of hair on her body sticking out, around her tail is left long as well. It looked like they took the clippers and shaved her head to toe, but skipped a bunch, trimmed her nails and charged us $80 for simple haircut that was supposed to be a grooming, that couldn't have taken more than 15 minutes. We started home with her and just really started looking at how bad it was, so we turned around and went back to talk to Resa. I pointed out the unevenness of the cut and told her it was not an $80 haircut. She said, she's the hardest schnauzer we've ever brought her. She's been grooming her for 3 years and that's the first time that's ever been mentioned. Then she said I can fix that, and proceeded to cut her even shorter. I told her to stop making it shorter, again said this is NOT an $80 haircut, reiterated that we had requested a winter cut. All I got was she was hard. This experience was bad enough that we will not recommend her and we will not be going back.

DO NOT GO HERE! This…read moredeserves a 0-star. I have an outdoor cat I had rescued & when I came in to inquire over her getting spayed/get her first shots, I had explicitly requested she be kept for a few days after surgery. I even offered to supply my own cat food for her. She had a litter of kittens 12 weeks prior & had been hounded by 3 additional stray/abandoned kittens that were pestering her for milk in addition to her own litter. The days of 2025's summer have been hot & I did not want her stress-tested more than once after my attempt to do the right thing. She's an adorable, sweet girl that I had built a special bond with after rescuing her from an empty/derelict trash can & had been starving to death for days. She was obviously not prone to being caged nor being brought into a vet. I knew I had just 1 shot at getting her taken care of. All the ladies & the manager in the front had agreed a week prior to keep her for a few days so that everything would be done at once, traumatize her less & allow her to heal up before returning home. I arduously managed to cage her that morning & bring her in. I was amidst verbally confirming everything in the office upon dropoff when the manager decided to change her mind, calling her "feral" & unmanageable (she hadn't even looked at her yet) & would need to leave the same day. (Feral cats don't come when called on command so she was obviously acting highly inappropriate with a bias against my cat...) Not only did the manager end up lying to me with a reneged agreement, they put me in a tough spot of normally rejecting inappropriate business practices in lieu of not traumatizing my cat further in a worthless waste of trust & time spent. I felt forced & reluctantly left her there for the procedure. I returned home to research the clinic only to find it one of THE worst veterinary businesses in all of Midland via Yelp. When returning for pickup, the lady at the front quietly pushed paperwork to me, refusing to discuss the details of her operation or small talk niceties. I had spent that entire day mortified & worried for her safety as it is to add additional insult to their injuries, charging me nearly $800 for the 'work.' That is $500 more than the average cost. Now, I am completely riddled with worry that their tawdry business ethics & bigoted behavior translates into shoddy surgery so I will have to painfully strategize another visit to a better, more appropriately researched veterinarian establishment for a follow up to ensure they didn't butcher my cat like they murdered my wallet. I told them I would not be taking her litter there for neuter/spaying & would not be returning. Uncaringly, they snickered on my way out the door. This is the most unprofessional, inappropriate extortion I have ever experienced & you would be forewarned to stay clear of this sketchy hole in a once-begotten strip mall. STAY AWAY.

I scheduled an appointment on 8/15 @11:08am for my kitten to get his rabies vaccination and showed up on time for the appointment. I was told the vet was not there and I should've have received some type of notification to let me know that. I DID NOT, no email, text, voicemail, nothing. Fine. I was told to come back between 2-4pm. I came back at 2:30 and they were swamped with cars. I waited in one of the 3 lines, got to the front and waited and waited. I kept seeing the employees go to all the cars behind me and at this point it's been over 30 minutes. I finally got out of the car because there weren't that many cars in line anymore, brought my cat inside to see over 5 employees just standing there staring at my frustration. Not a single person came to my car to ask if I've been helped- nothing. I go inside and come to find out the vet still isn't there and the woman I'm asking for help acts like I'm supposed to know that the vet still isn't there. Not once did I receive any kind of communication. I'm really just upset because I took time out of work and no one had the decency to just contact me. I understand that things happen. But just communicate. I now have to stop work again, book another appointment online and pay another deposit just to maybe be seen again. Please just communicate better...
