Of course you don't get rest in a hospital but they made sure to try to make it comfortable. That room in my opinion was prehistoric. Nothing about that room gave labor and delivery. It was very small and cramped. Tv remote had to be switched out because that wasn't working the first hour. The sleep sofa was in an odd space. But once I delivered I was moved to a recovery room in the jones building. The room was much nicer, but small. The limit is four guest but to be honest that's too much. I also love the celebration menu for the new parents. Steak, lobster Mac and cheese, spinach and key lime cheese cake. A very good reward after not being on a clear liquid diet for two days.

After undergoing a planned 12-hour reconstructive surgery, the level of post-operative care I…read moreexperienced raised serious concerns for me about patient safety. Recovering from a procedure of that magnitude requires attentive monitoring and compassionate care. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I was shuffled around for a room and then placed in a very small room and often felt largely left on my own during my stay. The staff was poorly equipped to handle my recovery. The lack of knowledge was infuriating. They would crush time released medications and I was told if I didn't take it then I would have to stay in pain. (My mouth was wired shut and it was like battery acid with the syringe. They didn't care.) There were long periods where I struggled to get assistance, and the level of attentiveness from staff did not reflect the seriousness of my condition. I would consider the care here unethical and inhumane. I also observed that my room was not cleaned consistently during my stay, which is alarming for a surgical patient where infection prevention should be a priority. What troubled me most was the lack of compassion and responsiveness from most members of the staff. After undergoing such a major operation, patients should feel supported and cared for. Instead, I frequently felt like an inconvenience rather than someone recovering from extensive surgery. Hospitals should be places where patients feel safe and supported during their stay. I hope the administration takes feedback like this seriously and works to improve the quality of care provided to not only surgical patients but all patients. You can tell who's there for just a paycheck.

JAY: She practically runs this place. She knows the ins and outs of this place and literally will find an answer and she also steps in when an unexpected deficit occurs. This is very much needed for continuity of care because patients want trust that those caring from them know what they are doing and from their point of view believe that their care is seamless. Jay does just that. BIANCA: She gets the job done. She navigates patients well especially when it come to guiding them where they need to go and informing them on next steps. She always provides clarification to the patients she is assisting EMILY: Full of Energy. She provides the carisma for the environment. The level of dissatisfaction with every aspect of this physician's practice is off the charts. Caveat Emptor! I plan to file a formal complaint with UnitedHealthcare. The online video promising same week treatment is fraudulent, based on my experience. No call backs, appointment times not kept, emails not answered, promises to schedule MRIs not upheld, extremely long phone wait times, and in most cases, the phone is not answered. Balls dropped at every turn, all the while I, as a referred patient, am in need of treatment. My experience is not unique. Just look at other reviews. Wish I had seen them before seeking treatment and wasting valuable time working toward resolution of a back injury. Any other business run this way would lose all customers. Find another provider. I will be working to ensure that this physician is removed as a preferred provider within my health plan.

The facility itself was clean, professional, and my procedure went smoothly. My concern is not with…read morethe medical staff, but with the facility's billing practices and customer service. I underwent what was intended to be a routine preventive endoscopy/colonoscopy earlier this year. Unfortunately, my insurance is on a grandfathered plan that does not cover preventive care without applying the deductible, which resulted in several unexpected bills, including a ~$400 facility charge from this center after applying my insurance! I contacted the billing department several times by phone and email to see whether there was any flexibility or assistance available. I communicated with Tannya and Rana, but I found the experience disappointing. The responses were curt and unhelpful, and the only solution offered was to "discuss it with your insurance" or enroll in a payment plan. There was no willingness to explore any other options or show empathy for the situation. What I find particularly frustrating is that healthcare providers often negotiate rates and adjustments with insurance companies, yet when patients are left with substantial out-of-pocket costs, there seems to be little willingness to work directly with them. A payment plan is not the same as addressing an unexpectedly high charge. If you have a choice of facilities, I recommend comparing their facility fees before scheduling a routine preventive procedure. Paying over $400 (after insurance!) in facility charges for a simple preventive screening was an unpleasant surprise, and the lack of meaningful customer service made the experience even more disappointing.T

If I had not done my own research I could have gotten seriously sick... do better on the nurses you hire please.
