It's a very nice place to just order a few drinks and relax with some friends. The owners are brothers and both very friendly. They came around and chatted with everyone. If you're sitting at the bar, the bartenders will walk you through the creation of the drinks you ordered. I got to do a tour of the distillery and also a informational demonstration of how the infusion process works. Darin was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in answering questions. There are many different drinks to choose from and they come in a variety of colours and flavours. I had the Mamas Lemonade Ice Cream Float and it featured ice cream from local Edmonton store Kind. It was delicious. The Campbell's Negroni was quite good but very strong.

Find them tucked into the business park just off Campbell Road and the Anthony Henday behind Servus Place Rec Centre. As soon as you walk in, you are transported to a modern and clean neighbourhood distillery and foodie delight! MD Distillery is home to Still ONE spirits. I definitely need to look into taking a tour here. I highly recommend you order a flight and a specialty cocktail! For our first visit we shared a juice, a cocktail, a flight, a main, a salad, three shareables, and a dessert. Basically a little sampling of heaven! Let's break it down: Perfect Pear - 1.5 oz. MD dry gin, 1 oz. pear brandy, lemon juice, simple syrup, Prosecco, and torched house foam. This cocktail was PEARfectly smooth and something I'd order again and again! The presentation was beautiful and everything I look for in a specialty cocktail. $15 Next up was our flight - we selected 1 gin, 1 lemon cello, and 2 vodkas. Really fun and a great way to try a variety of their spirits. Definitely save some sips to savour with your meal to bring out different notes! $12 Bread and Butter - The tween gobbled this up and hubs and I barely got a piece each. Everything is house made here even the butter is whipped in house! $4 Crispy Potatoes - Truffled aoili and ketchup. Again, like everything else, housemade with love and bursting with flavor. $6 Bacon Wrapped Plums - Roasted cauliflower and hazelnut dukkah. Delicious! If you've never ordered these anywhere, you are definitely missing out! A great savory and sweet shareable. $12 Beet & Hemp Crusted Goat Cheese - Onion jam, greens, and balsamic vinaigrette. This was probably my favourite dish of the whole meal: I just loooooove a warm goat cheese paired with beets. My personal preference would be for a bit more acidic notes but hubs loved it just the way it was. The golden beets mixed with the traditional reds was a nice touch. $16 Pierogi - Potato and farmers cheese dumplings, caramelized onion, smoked salmon, and Evoolution dill olive oil. This isn't a dish I'd normally order but my daughter had her heart set on it. Everything was cooked to perfection and presented with care. I'm not a big dill fan personally but it was a hot overall with the fam jam. $18 And last but not least, Rosemary Panna Cotta - Passionfruit coulis, white chocolate ganache, and chocolate crumb. OH.EM.ROSEMARY.GEE. I'd come here again and again for this dessert and the beet salad alone! $9 And let's not forget the wonderful servers/bartenders and chefs. We've really lucked out with this local gem that captures everything I love about exquisite food while escaping any sense of pretentiousness. I can't wait to see what they come up with next. Be sure to follow them on FB and Insta for current creations! Can't wait to go back - Two thumbs way up! P.S. Maple Still ONE vodka for the Canada win!

What a hoot! I had a smile on my face from the moment we walked in til we left. There's nothing like being time warped into the 1970s and watching old cartoons and advertisements on the TVs while eating your dinner or having a drink. Everything from the color scheme to the light fixtures to the trinkets collected behind the bar screams 1970s, and made for a fun, goofy, comforting nostalgia. We started with drinks at the bar while we waited for a table. They have a good selection of local brews as well as cocktails. Even the names of the drinks made me smile. I got the "dirty shiddy martini." Then we moved to our table in the "rumpus room." The menu is no-frills and straightforward. Not a ton of options, but you're there for a burger! They have vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options to make everyone happy. We each got a burger Alabama style, split some fries with "flat sauce," and added a giant pickle on a stick for shids and giggles. Delicious, it all hit the spot! Staff is friendly and quick. It will be busy when you go so just enjoy the experience!

For the berry ones they do them seasonally- they use Evans Cherries in their cherry vodka. Any fruit comes from the local area. And they do lots of local sourcing for their ingredients and collaborations. Double double is their version of Baileys- but better than Baileys! The last time we went they even had a carrot cake chai version and it was so delightful! Sugar beet brum (rum), traditionally made with sugar cane, they use a more local ingredient: Sugar Beets from Southern Alberta. A-freaking-mazing! Such a clear crisp taste, perfect on the rocks. Their wheat comes from across the road at a local farmers: Schneider's Farms. And a family fungi farm grows oyster mushrooms on their spent grain- very cool! They have been open since Oct 2017 officially. In over 700 liquor stores in Alberta. Over 30 products, from vodka, gin, and a line of whiskey. I loved the named areas or equipment - that was adorable and made it really unique! Jelly Bean brewery spot, to the mid still Schatzi. I will definitely be back for some Christmas gift shopping and to bring some friends to their tasting room and gift shop. Nisku isn't that far away! Their space is stunning! I love the outdoor entering area, even a Teepee used for ceremonies. They have a beautiful upstairs area you can rent. And fantastic open taproom dining and of course a great tour area. Our distillery tour was top notch! Amazing story teller, full of knowledge and experiences. It made it so much more than just a tour of the distillery and the processes. Would highly recommend a tour!
