This has bugged me for years, and maybe she's gotten better, but I wanted to get this off my chest. Dr. London was the partner of our regular pediatrician at the time, Dr. Weiland. I took my daughter in for a bad cold and Dr. London prescribed her a round of antibiotics. I'm generally cautious with any medication, so I asked what I thought was an innocent question, "so you think this is bacterial as opposed to a virus?" Instead of answering my question, Dr. London asked me where I went to medical school. I was completely taken aback and unprepared for her condescending attitude. I've had plenty of socially inept and egotistical doctors over the years, but Dr. London took the cake.
Anyway, if you go see Dr. London, don't presume to question the great Doctor. Just bow your head and say thank you as you back out the door. read more
