This is one of the smallest coffee shops I have ever been to. It is tiny, with only about 4 chairs in the room. Yet it functions very well- instead of seeming crowded, the place seems cosy- the arrangement forces the customer into becoming more familiar with the staff and each other. When I went in today for a coffee, there was a group of people sat chatting to the friendly and approachable owner, Malcolm.
Part of a larger shop- The Beehive- which encompasses 4 small businesses- the coffee shop offers reasonably priced and ethically traded coffee and cakes. With coffee and tea ranging from 1.50- 2.10 and a special offer of coffee with a cookie or tart for only 2.50, it is a good place to have a pit-stop in Greenwich and makes a welcome change from the Starbucks across the road. read more
