Shopper's Delight is the shop I go to for all of my top-up needs. Usually when I need a mobile…read morevoucher or to put money on my Oyster card I come here during rush hour right before I have to sprint to the bus stop. It's open super early, like way before the roosters come out to cock-a-doodle-do. This place is not just good for basic off-licence needs. Their magazine selection is impressive. Their publication section takes up nearly a quarter of their shop and the titles that they carry range from basic Sun to highly stylish Tank. So, if you're on the go and you need to handle business, but you'd also like something good to read on the bus, this is the shop for you.

Becuase even though you're judging me, you're also jealous that I was there and didn't pick *you* up 30 toilet rolls for a tenner or 3 boxes of Crunchy Nut for £7. Or that amazing Kirkland brand trail mix with the fake M&Ms. Or eleventy billion vitamins. But what I would like to add to this seeming useless, uncool review is that they've translated the £1.50 hot dog + soda deal into "English" with the ability to opt for the .50p tea + bakewell tart offer. Keepin' it classy, Costo! Raaaaather! I opted for the beef, as per usual.

I always see the same man working alone in the store and this little store can become quite busy. They have a huge selection of magazines and newspapers as well as all the basic items you might need. Their shelves are always fully stocked which is a plus. I am not exactly sure if they accept credit cards, never tried due to so many people coming in and out and I don't want to inconvenience everyone else for the sake of £5 or so. They sell bus passes and travel cards and you can top up Oyster. I am almost sure that they open at 7 in the mornings, so if you ran out of credit, tada! There is no cash point in the area, so be prepared. Oh and they do sell scratch cards and the National Lotto.

It is well stocked, reasonable prices for the items it sells, and yes the same man always works there! Sometimes he has an assistant, but not often. They do open about 7am, and stay until about 7-8pm 7 days a week. It does get very busy as it is the only local shop to offer Oyster top-ups, bus passes and sell Oyster cards, otherwise you have to travel to a shop near Sainsbury's to get Oysters. If the newspaper you want is out of stock, come back in the evening and a fresh stack will be waiting. It is very clean there, and very well run. Odd times it is closed until later in the morning, but as the one man runs it, of course this can happen due to delays etc. However this is rare, and he will always be open each day in the end. They do take bank debit cards at a 50p standard charge, not sure about credit cards. They even sell batteries!

So why do I like this shop? It is simple! It has a great range of booze in terms of obscure beers and spirts to tasty sausages and packs of Zurek that I like. Plus the staff are usd to speaking in their own language to the customers so they warmly recieve a Brit boy who loves this influx from the East. This shop is really a little bit of abroad in Morden.
